“Best service ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

We went on an impromptu trip to the beach and stumbled upon this place.

I have some health problems and wasn't doing so well when we went in. They noticed this and not only offered me a chair but called another place for me. We went and checked the other place out and opted for this over the ocean view.

When i asked for a tide table, one wasn't handed to me but they showed me how to read it.

Rooms were clean, well stocked. They offer beach blankets/towels toys for you. They have bbq's (charcoal) and offered to set them up for us if we wanted to grill.

Cookies/hot cocoa/coffee in the lobby, (with whipped cream) free movie rentals.

Quiet, friendly and fun!

Room Tip: Mini suite has 2 queens and a hideabed and 2 tv sets!

Room was adequate, fridge and microwave included. What set this place apart is the service. Very friendly and attentive. Very short walk to the beach, will stay here again and recommend it to others. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Also have a limited number of covered parking, staff helped me secure one of the spots for my motorcycle. Very easy walk to the beach and all of the town shops and dining.

Loved this place. About a 20 second walk to the beach. They were so friendly there. They offered us beach towels, beach blankets, shovel & wagon so we could make a bonfire at the beach. We stayed in the Spa room & I loved it. Room wasn't huge but it was a good size (their website shows the layouts of the room so we weren't surprised). The room was clean. They had a DVD player and small flat screen tv. You could barrow movies for free. I am usually very afraid I am going to get a bad hotel but this hotel was great.

Room Tip: You cannot use spa jets from 10 pm - 8 am. Keep that in mind.

We loved our stay at the Hillcrest Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved how close it was to everything. The beach is just a few steps away. The room was very clean and comfortable. We will put this one on our list and stay here again!

First off I want to thank Ruth and Don for their hospitality! We stayed in one of the Hillcrest family rooms; this one was located above the office and Ruth did mention that there was some noise from about 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. at night so we knew there might be some noise - not a problem for us however if this is a problem for you, my suggestion to you is to book a different room as I am sure they are ALL great! You get a partial view of the ocean from the bathroom window and get another partial city view from the queen bedroom window. We had no issue with any of the folks staying around us as I assume most were there for the Seapac Convention in town that weekend. The room was welcoming, warm and there were a lot of towels. I dislike bugs and found NO (that's right I said NO) bugs including spiders in this suite. We showered around 9:30 in the morning and found there was enough hot water for the 3 of us to take separate showers. We found the beds comfortable and somewhat firm. The double bed in the adjoining room is a bit softer than the queen - just an fyi. If you don't like a pillow or need more pillows and blankets just call down to the office and ask them!

This Inn is conveniently located near in Seaside, OR so you can park your vehicle and walk around town. There are a plethora of places to eat but most shut down around 9 p.m. on the weekend. There are a few franchises along HWY 99 aka Roosevelt Dr if you are craving for something more familiar but might be a good idea to drive since it's a longer walk (over the bridge). Plenty of candy stores so if one is packed, there will be another one along the way. Lots of of shopping for everyone.

I am so glad I booked this Inn for us to stay at and we are looking forward to either coming out for Seapac again or just a family vacation next year. Again, thank you Ruth and Don for making us feel like we were part of your family!

The room we stayed in was basic but very clean and comfortable. It is close to the beach and easy walking distance to restaurants and stores. The customer service was outstanding. I would definately recommend Hillcrest Inn.
