After realizing a trip to Lincoln City in the rain for a weekend would leave our family searching for things to do. I desperately called Four Winds 5 days prior to our trip and they were able to accomidate our party of 6 after a party cancelled their 7 room reservation! We stayed in a two queen sweet. The view was excellent, location is just far enough away from the main drag in seaside to have privacy, but is still easy to get to. Our only two complaints are that there was no pool, and a child running around the balchony at 6 am Sunday morning, other than that, it was perfect!

My husband and I were uncertain about staying at The Inn of the Four Winds because we read here about another couple finding the place noisy. Quiet and privacy are very important to us. But I'm glad we went ahead and tried. We've experienced most of the hotels with ocean view rooms at Seaside and The Inn of the Four Winds is the quietest by far. We were in our room a lot, due to rain, with the deck door open wide, the rooms around ours were occupied, and we couldn’t hear anything but the ocean! All I can say is those other folks must have had amazing hearing and shouldn't stay at any other hotel in Seaside that faces the sea or they will be most unhappy. Aside from being peaceful and quiet, The Inn of the Four Winds is beautiful, with very clean, well-appointed rooms, comfy beds, and a great staff. We love it and can't wait to come back.

Very friendly staff here, helped with directions and suggestions for restaurants/sightseeing.

The room was clean, cozy, and had a magnificent view.

The drawbacks:
- thin walls. we were woken up 4 times during the night by the banging on the walls and the personal noises from our neighbors who we guessed were on their honeymoon? hey, good for them! ....but not so good for our sleep.

-construction going on next door on a new building. the noise stopped around 6 but they started again in the morning so something to consider. also, as a result the boardwalk is fenced off north of the property.

-small tight parking lot

The property itself however, is well maintained and the rooms are very nice. The pride they take in their hotel is evident. Can't beat the view.

what can I say that the title doesn't? Sorry Kimberly (manager) but I really love your place and want to keep it a secret for my family and close friends (being selfish here).

this lovely boutique motel is quiet, situated on the far (north) end of the prom with stunning views and such wonderful appointments; robes, wing back chairs with soft comfy throws, wine glasses and very good furnishings. Oh and lest I forget, warm cookies!

I and my husband have been happy and fortunate enough to stay here many, many times (even when I am working in Astoria, I stay here) and we will return. Keep out that weclome mat Kimberly, we will always come back to your establishment as our first choice of lodging in Seaside!
