“Wonderful spot off the beaten path”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

My wife and I enjoyed our second stop for dinner here after a round of golf in south Salem. We enjoyed dinner on their deck which made for a great summer evening. The food was outstanding. My wife had their nightly special which was a ling cod served in a blackberry and lemon sauce. I had a flatiron steak with gorgonzola cheese sauce over Yukon gold mashed potatoes. For dessert, I had the best 3 cheese cheesecake I have ever eaten.

Our server was great. We wanted to linger over our cocktails before ordering dinner, and she kept a watchful but not obtrusive eye on us so we could order our dinners when we were ready. We will definitely be back!

“Enjoyable service, menu, and food, in an idyllic setting...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

Since we are from San Francisco, and travel a lot, we depend on reviews before making dining choices. When we checked TripAdvisor for Salem's top restaurants, Roberts Crossing was in the top five; so, we tried it... Located near one of the best golf courses in Oregon, the location is relaxed, and beautiful... From the time you walk in the front door, the staff makes you feel very welcome... Once you get your appetizer, drink, and dinner menus, you're going to have a series of tough choices; virtually EVERYTHING on those menus sounds appetizing... And, judging from the comments from adjacent tables, everything WAS delicious. We ordered the Coconut Shrimp and the Chicken Saltimbocca; and, both were spectacular... When we were ready to leave, we were too full for dessert... "No problem," our server, Jeff, said, "Take our fantastic Willamette Fruit Crisp, and ice cream, to go... When you are no longer full, the dessert will taste even better..." That was some of the best food advice, ever...
In summary, we are very happy that we went to Robert's Crossing, will go again, and will recommend it to others...

“Wonderful meal and excellent service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

We enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Roberts Crossing. The brie appetizer was out of this world. I had the fish special for the evening which was mahi mahi and it was terrific. well prepared in a delicious orange sauce and very moist. My wife enjoyed chicken saltiboca (sp) which she would recommend. The salads were nicely prepared and the dressings were excellent. My wife had the strawberry vinaigrette and I had the pickle ginger vinaigrette which was excellent.. We split the cheese cake which we each would recommend. The service was very good and the waiter was attentive and helpful. I had enjoyed a Syrah with my meal which was very good. We recommend Roberts Crossing for our meal, atmosphere and service.

“Great experience this visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

This was our second visit. Our first a few months ago was just a little disappointing but this time it was wonderful. Great service, really good food! Can't wait to go back.
