“Lot's to see in Salem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

I am working on my bucket list of seeing every capital in the USA and this was Salem's turn. Normal post 911 security. Tons of history to be reviewed. The entire area around the Capital is fascinating.

“Proud to be an Oregonian!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

Wonderful capital. You are able to roam a lot of the building cnd even have lunch in the basement. Rotating displays in the center of the building. A very nice gift shop too. We were allowed in to hear some of the proceedings taking place. I learned a lot/ clean, well kept snd friendly.

“Easy access, wonderful history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

Worth finding parking to get to walk around, inside and outside the Oregon state capitol. Both the Senate and House chambers were open for viewing. Didn't get to go on the outside viewing area trek so will definitely be going back. Grounds are beautiful.

“You should go to your state capitol”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

On a clear day, the Golden Pioneer on top of the Oregon State Capitol is visible from over 20 miles away. When the legislature is in session, it's worth coming and seeing the hustle and bustle. When they're out of town, you have the run of the place.
