John and Vicky Hokanson run this lovely bed and breakfast which is located very conveniently at the edge of the historic district in Roseburg. When I were there, I only saw 2 rooms, although I believe that they have an additional one. The rooms are fixed up very nicely, with quilts and antiques (old pictures, dresses, etc.). Each room has its own bathroom, with antique clawfoot tubs. There is also a shower available in the owner's portion of the home, for those who cannot abide tub baths. There is a small sitting room that links the 2 bedrooms, which has a small TV and a refrigerator. Both rooms are on the 2nd floor, so stairs are involved, if that is an issue.
Breakfast is absolutely wonderful! John loves to cook and fed me enough for the entire day for breakfast (if only I could store it that way!). He served fresh fruit, the most wonderful Belgian waffles, 2 eggs from his own hens, juice and coffee, and that was just one day! I highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast; we will definitely be going back!
