“Nice room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

We had a nice 1st floor room, with refrig., and microwave. Everything was clean, and looks like our room had recently been remodel. Liked the large shower with glass door instead of the curtains. We thought that being close to I-5, and the airport it was very quiet. The Cont. Breakfast was adequate, in a pleasant room off the lobby. We did find the WIFI signal very weak to non-existence about the center on the 1st floor. Checking the lobby Hotel PC, it was online but also reported a weak signal. The in-room Ethernet hookup would probably be a better bet if you have a cable, but I didn't.

Room Tip: Didn't need Room Service, and didn't use the indoor pool or spa. We thought for the lower pr...

On the plus side, the staff was friendly and helpful. Also very flexible with arrival times and cancellations. BUT, though clean, the rooms are small enough to feel cramped, the towels old and worn out, and the beds very uncomfortable. Even worse, though, is the nearly complete lack of internet access. The wi-fi system was unreliable and often inaccessible. The ethernet box never did work. If you need to be connected, avoid this one.

Room Tip: A handicapped accessible room might be bigger than normal. Also try and get one close to there wi-fi...

We have stayed at this hotel the past few years as it is the halfway point on our road trip between southern California and Montana. We initially chose this hotel as it is pet friendly, conveniently located and fairly priced. A few years ago I would have rated it four stars but the condition of the property has been declining each year. The first room we stayed on was on the fourth floor and was in better condition. However on the return trip we stayed in a second floor room which had some minor maintenance issues and appeared to be much more worn out than the other room. The breakfast room is small but adequate. They offer bagels, toast, pastries, yogurt, bananas, cold cereal, juice, milk and coffee. Very basic but enough to get you going in the morning. The staff is friendly and efficient. They offer free Wifi which always works well for us. We will probably return again on our next trip but I hope they invest some money in new carpeting, bed linens and overall maintenance.

We stayed in this hotel for a few nights to particpate in a family wedding. We had a great stay. It is a simple hotel; an Econlodge, but it is clean and a good value.
The highlight was the staff. Wonder people, very helpful.

We are moving across the country and this was our first stop. We stayed in the full bed rooms. Those rooms were very small. The beds were very firm, not very good for us. The bathroom only had a small pocket door so there isn't much privacy in the room. There is only a shower, which is interesting in itself. They do accept pets and were very good about them. The breakfast was ok but enough to get us on the road. Not the best stay we've had but not the worst.

Room Tip: Dog friendly and if you're going to Wildlife Safari, they have discount tickets that will save y...

The friendly staff at the EconoLodge made our two-night stay so enjoyable. The room was nice and clean. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff in terms of amenities. In fact, they went "above and beyond" in trying to make us comfortable. We would heartily recommend this as a wonderful place to stay for families.

Clean comfortable spartan room, sans fridge & micro, but able to use pantry chiller in breakfast room at other end of building. Noisy extractor fan in bathroom matched the traffic noise from the highway outside. Staff are lovely, friendly & helpful. Breakfast is a 'sugarfest' & high carb included in tarrif which is average. 3 miles north of town centre
