“Not Bad of a stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2014

Stayed one night on our way through town heading to Sacramento. Room was clean except the dead bug I picked up and threw in the toilet. For the price it was fine. Had Dominos pizza delivered and they were really fast and just slept and got up and got on the road. The bed was a little firm for me. Not a bad stay. We could hear people in the other rooms so the walls are a little thin.

Stayed one night, room was old and needed refurbishing but was OK really, the parkland setting out the back is a great plus. Pity the guy behind the desk on May 29th was abrupt and rude. The problem in this place is summarised in one word - meanness. Most hotels provide a pile of USA Today, this one has ONE copy labelled "Lobby Only", the orange juice was actually watered down orange DRINK and in a jug full of ice blocks which further diluted the contents while making them seem more. The breakfast was one of the most minimalist we have had in this trip to the States - no hot food of any sort only bread and toaster, and packet cereals plus fresh fruit (great) while they claimed to never provide artificial sweeteners for the coffee - why not when every other hotel we have stayed in has provided them? If more than eight turn up at once for breakfast there is nowhere to sit in the lobby where the breakfast is served off a side table. Certainly cannot recommend this when there are so many others more deserving in town.

Room Tip: The rooms are not the problem - the meaness pervading the front of house is. A rear room opens onto...

Location was great but room was very mediocre. Pool was not in use and had standing water over a tarp in the pool area. Breakfast was very minimalist. In need of some updating!

We stayed at this motel with two dogs. The room was absolutely wonderful, spacious, and clean. Our only complaint is the small shower but that isn't a big deal. We loved the park like setting that we could walk the dogs in. And didn't realize until the next morning that there was a dog park about a mile away from the hotel.

Travelodge in Roseburg Oregon was a real treat. After 4,000 mile five week snow birding trip, it was time to return to the Northwest. Roseburg was in the middle of our last leg of driving and we decided on an overnight rest before completing our trip to Seattle area. We will always try and include a stop at this Travelodge in future trips. Why? Because it was so well kept and the owners, Madhu and Nalini were some of the friendliest operators we have met. Not only was the room and bed very, very comfortable, but the landscaping demonstrated their pride in this Travelodge. Nalini and I had such a wonderful conversation about her flowers, shrubs, plants and how it made the property look so appealing. I ended up giving her some prickly pear cactus seeds from Arizona and will return to see how she started them. Denny's is located across the street and the area is close to I-5. Room, bed, bath and welcome exceeded our expectations. Fresh fruit and juice in the morning was just right. Price was very good using Wyndham Rewards. Easy and convenient access to I-5.

Room Tip: We like the main floor. If you make reservations, be sure and add your preference and Roseburg Trave...
