“Exceeded expectations/Heavenly beds”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2011

We chose this hotel for the pool and because it had a good rating on Tripadvisor. The pool was fantastic for my 7 year old granddaughter. The beds were wonderful. As good as the Hilton or Marriott and the breakfast was great. Biscuits, sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, waffles, muffins, bagels, fresh fruit, etc. I usually stay in a higher end place and was quite pleased with this stay. Staff was very pleasant and the room comfortable and quiet. Good sleep at a good price. This hotel should be #1 on Tripadvisor for Redmond, as I can't imagine a better place for the money.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the first floor as there is no elevator.

We decided to stay in or near Bend, Oregon for a last minute road trip. We settled on this hotel after reading previous reviews on TripAdvisor. It's right by Highway 97, but we didn't hear any traffic noise as our room was as far from the highway as could be and we had the room's air system running pretty much the whole time we were there.

Check-in was friendly. We had a suite, which was nice as we could stretch out a bit and relax on the couch after a long day of driving. The room was very clean and everything worked as you would expect. Great shower - plenty of water pressure. The fridge in our room was a plus too, as you drink a lot of water in the desert in summer! We didn't try breakfast, which was included in the room rate. Extra kudos to the Rama Inn for including free wi-fi in the room rate - wish more places did that!

The only small thing was that the bed was a bit soft for us, but that's just our personal preference.

The dining options around that area were pretty limited, so we tended to eat in or near Bend while passing through on our days out.

We would definitely stay at the Rama Inn again.

This hotel was clean, bathroom and room was very clean, the hotel was well maintained, felt safe with kids, breakfast was wonderful and felt like home and staff was awesome. I would stay here again and again. I would recommend this hotel to everyone going through central oregon.

Room Tip: For the price, well worth it.

Check in was quick and pleasant, I was asked if I would be needing the WiFi password which I did and was told the closing time for the pool as well as the time for the continental breakfast.
Getting to our room was a bit awkward, the entrance we used was literally at the end of the hotel. Once we knew where the door was it wasn't a problem.
This is a 2 story hotel and the room doors are on the interior, it was an easy walk up to the 2nd floor and then down the hall to the middle of the hotel to our rooms.
I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door to the room. The room was spacious with a king bed, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, desk, dresser, 2 chairs, 2 nightstands, several lamps and a flat screen tv. Everything, including the carpet, looked updated and very clean. The bathroom had a beautiful large vanity and even a curved shower rod.
The bed was comfortable with 4 pillows and I slept well. I opted to use my earplugs, the hotel is right next to the highway and although it was not noticeable most of the time, occasionally a louder vehicle would go by.
My stay was only 1 night and I can't comment on the pool, excercise room or the breakfast (we ate in Bend) but I would absolutely stay here again.

Room Tip: Room closer to lobby may be quieter

Took my family over during spring break . The service was really good and very helpful. The pool was very nice and clean. The room was extrememly warm. We had to turn on the AC to get a good night sleep. Kind of crazy when it was snowing outside.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights to visit our son and his family and were so impressed with the staff. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We had our two young granddaughters spend the night with us and they put us on the first floor close to the pool and even brought coloring pages to the room for them. The room was clean and comfortable as was the bed. The bathroom was really small but all was in good clean working order. Housecleaning was very efficient and accomodating to our schedule. The pool was perfect temperature and so much fun. The staff came in and made sure the girls had some pool toys to play with. The breakfast was more than adequate and the server very attentive. There are a lot of food options nearby and shopping. The senior rate that they gave us was a very good value and we will definately stay here again.

Redmond is a wonderful place to book for several nights and then explore the areas of Madras, Bend, Sisters & Mt. Bachelor. This is a lovely BWestern that is well maintained. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. You will love coming back here and going to the huge heated indoor pool and spa at the end of day of sight seeing.
