This was our second stay at Eagle Crest. Traded with RCI for a week and was lucky to get it.

This is a hard place to trade into. We split the time between our kids and grand kids to join us.

There is no best part. The lawns are kept in top shape. The place is in top shape. We did not golf this trip but did the bike rides as they rent bikes for the hour, day or week. I did a mountain bike for 5 days and it cost $60. Rode with the grandsons. Plenty of paved bike trails.

We played tennis, racket ball, swimming in two of the 4 pools. Hiked the trails along the river and just chilled out in the sunshine. They gave us the tennis rackets with balls to play tennis and Racketball. No charge.

What we liked was how well the units were furnished. We have been in many time shares over the years, and without a doubt this one was the best furnished with all the extras, like coffee bean grinder, garlic press and you name it they had it.

Liked the wet bar. Made it easy to make that pre dinner cocktail.

We were never once contacted to go to a time share presentation. I have seen some postings that complain about this, but it did not exist.

I will post some pictures as others have, but it really doesn't do it justice.

Enjoyed stay as usual, except for the sales pitch.

Stayed over the weekend with another couple in their 2-bedroom timeshare. Was clean and comfy as usual, carpet showing a bit of age, though I do hear they are remodeling some of the older units. I've stayed here many times and would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay somewhere quieter than Bend, it is isolated and quiet like most golf course properties. Units vary, the 3-bedroom units are a LOT nicer, locations are all over the place, some with views, some with views of the parking lot... The hotel is just average.

Gripe:

Woke up the next day and found a note from the other couple who went to the "Member Breakfast Meeting" I was thinking NOOOOO! Don’t fall for it. We could be on the slopes right now. That must be what the crimeshare scammers are calling it these days. He just went to gripe about how difficult it always is to reserve a unit even though the resort always seems half empty. He's had buyer's remorse for a long time. No surprise, it was actually a sales pitch. They had the nerve to try and sell him more credits! There wasn't even any "breakfast" served. What a joke and a waste of 2.5 hrs that we could have spent snowboarding. Beware, any time you hear about a "Breakfast orientation" or "Breakfast meeting" it's really just a scam, run away! (this is actually true at a lot of resorts, not just this one)

I wnet there with my husband twice, and we stayed at the 3 bedroom chalet. Have no idea how much did it cost because we used our Timeshare to get it, but it was well worth it. As I said, we stayed at the 3 bedroom chalet which had a gorgeous (big) master suite upstairs with a shower and a big jetted tub. There were two more (good size) bedrooms dwonstairs and a full bathroom, so if you are planning to take kids or friends with you, it's great. There is also big kitchen with everything you need in it, besides food ;-) , dinning room with table for 6 people and a big family room with fireplace. It also has big deck with gas BBQ and a 12 people hot tub. We went skiing at Mt. Bachelor with our friends and invited everybody over afterwards for a dip in the hot tub and a beer, and for the rest of the trip everbody was haging out over at our chalet. We had a blast. The house looks like a mountain lodge on the inside and I would recommend it to everybody. WE LOVED IT.

My sister and I stayed in a one bedroom suite. The room was clean and newly renovated. The property is beautiful. The restaurant and bar were excellent as was the service. The management is excellent and the staff is friendly and accomodating. We would definitely stay here again.

A friend (that may no longer be the case) said that the Eagle Crest Resort was in a great location with wonderful views, so I thought I'd try it. Well, that was a mistake!! The view from my room...you look out and it is as if you are in a subterranean hole. You are!! I look up and see a sliver of sky and the licenses plates from two cars parked high above me in the lot. The room is musty; the furniture is Goodwill material. I complained. They are full (large tour bus) and nothing else is available. Live, learn, and reconsider your friends.
