“Absolutely Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

We spent 4 nights at Brasada and it wasn't enough time to experience everything this amazing place and nearby towns have to offer! Everything about our trip was perfect; we spent two nights in a 2-bedroom cabin with another couple, and when they left we moved to the Ranch House. Both accommodations were outstanding. The cabin was completely equipped with everything we needed, and we really enjoyed the back porch and hot tub. The Ranch House was very special; the room was large and centrally located. The food at Range was fantastic and we enjoyed the s'mores kits by the fire pit for dessert. The service was impeccable; everyone was very accommodating and service-oriented. The spa was also a great experience; I had an outstanding facial. The fitness center was well equipped and the fitness classes were a lot of fun; a mix of 'regulars' who live locally and ranch visitors, led by highly professional instructors. We enjoyed the tennis courts, hiking trails and pools as well. Brasada is close to Bend, and we went into town on a couple of occasions to experience live music, local microbreweries, restaurants and shopping. We loved our time in town, but we were also excited to return to our 'home base' at Brasada at the end of the evening. We are already talking about going back next year, for an extended family vacation. Put Brasada Ranch at the top of your list!

A good friend got married at Brasada Ranch on June 15th, and she had arranged for a number of cabins and rooms in the Ranch House to be reserved for wedding guests. We stayed for three nights in the Ranch House and had the good fortune of being assigned to Suite 4, which is upstairs and has a wonderful inside/outside gas fireplace that we used every evening when the temperature would drop to a lovely coolness. The suite was very spacious -- the bathroom alone had to be 150 sq ft easily -- and beautifully decorated with fun design elements like a sliding translucent "barn door" between the bedroom and bathroom if one wanted the soaking tub to be more associated with the bedroom. There was a small kitchenette area in the suite with a Keurig, fridge, microwave, and a small but useful assortment of glassware etc. The outdoor deck was a treat, perfect for lounging in the sun during the day and getting cozy by the indoor/outdoor fireplace in the evenings, with a great view of the grounds and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. Staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful when we checked in. We had one minor hiccup in service as our room was not made up the day of the wedding, but we were in/around the room until mid-afternoon when we went down to the ceremony and it may be that the service staff shift had ended by the time we finally vacated our room.

We did not partake of the many activities offered (golf, swimming pool, horseback riding, spa, etc) but heard from others that they were good. We did eat at their full service restaurant, The Range, and loved it but I will submit a separate review for that. In addition to being simply beautiful and peaceful, the location is also very convenient to restaurants etc in Bend, and easy access to state/national park attractions in the area. In summary, I would definitely recommend Brasada Ranch for anyone looking for a luxurious stay in the Bend area!

Room Tip: If you stay in the Ranch House (as opposed to a cabin), request a room on the upper floor. Suites 1...

We recently spent a week at this facility and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything you could want. We used the grill every night and enjoyed our meals on the patio when the weather cooperated. The fire place was lovely on cold evenings when sitting on a leather couch watching an HD TV. We also enjoyed a hot tub and fab bathroom with a large tub, fancy shower and the toilet was behind a pocket door.

The kitchen was full service with a dining area and breakfast bar. Dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, coffee pot, blender, toaster, five burner stove, fridge with ice maker and everything you could possible need to prepare and cook a nice meal.

Other amenities included a wonderful golf course and pro shop. You could have lessons as well. Also horseback riding and fly fishing was available along with a spa. There is also plenty for kids to do and the restaurant was superb.

This place is pricey, but a bargain when compared to its competitors. The views were spectacular. A great way to spend time with your special someone.

Room Tip: Cabins next to the golf course are wonderful.

This was our 3rd trip staying at the Ranch House. It was spectacular just as the other two were. We were celebrating our 42nd Anniversary and upon our arrival to in room we were greeted with a very nice bottle of wine and some fabulous chocolates! Obviously when we booked our room someone was pretty savvy in noting we were there for our Anniversary. A very nice touch, especially since it was an unusually rainy day for Central Oregon. The staff was very cordial and attentive! We will be back

We stayed at Brasada just recently and had a wonderful time. My 3 kids and I had a 2 bedroom cabin which was incredibly clean and beautiful. Loved using the kitchen and Weber grill to cook some meals.

Kacy was a big help planning our rafting and horseback riding trips before we had even arrived and Chris, our horse trail guide, was very professional and made our group feel safe.

I thought the food at both restaurants was quite good...the chicken and biscuits in the Ranch House were awesome as was the corned beef hash for breakfast.

The fire pits each night with s'mores was a neat way to end the day.

Jordan and Erin at the front desk were incredibly helpful and friendly...

Only suggestions I'd make...add a small grocery/sundry store so you can take advantage of the kitchen more and replenish if running low on things.

All in all great vacation spot....views are amazing.

My wife and i stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. We found the ranch house to be very homely and we loved to sit in front of the blazing fire. The staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Chris who dealt with the trail rides was particularly helpful. We went on the casual trail ride and had a gorgeous ride through the desert. Chris was very knowledgeable and made the ride even more special with his tales and stories of the local area. Whether you are an experienced rider or a complete novice we would thoroughly recommend booking a ride. We stayed in one of the ranch house suites and found it very well designed and very comfortable. The rooms were cleaned daily and were very well presented. I have travelled to many places with work and can say with all honesty that this stay was up there with the best.

Very nice cabin. However no clean up services. No clean towels, sheets, trash removal, or house cleaning of any type. Staff not well trained but nice. Exception, Brandon Bailey in casual dining and Chris at the horse stables. Food in nice dining was well below par. Two nice pools- a large pools for kids and a medium adult pool. Unfortunately, staff did not enforce no children in adult pool. Couldn't relax or read a book.I would not recommend this place or go back. Too many other nice places in Oregon to go.

We are very sorry to hear that you did not thoroughly enjoy your experiences here at The Ranch and even more sorry that we did not know about the issues in advance of your departure so that we could have turned everything around. In this case, it sounds like that we did not properly communicate our housekeeping schedule for the cabins, which are performed on the third day of a stay, though additional services are available upon request. And of course we are very sorry to hear that the food quality at Range Restaurant did not meet your expectations. Thank you for calling out two of our team members that did create positive experiences for you. Again, we're very sorry that your time here at The Ranch was not well above expectations and we do hope you will consider returning in the future. Warm regards.
