I love Trebol. It's hard to find authentic Oaxacan cuisine in Portland and Chef Hill does a very good job. The offer more margaritas and tequilas than you probably have ever seen. You have to start with the chips and guacamole. Then my advice is to order carefully. Their standards are off the charts but when they get creative, things can be hit or miss. My wife's chulaquiles last night were flat. I had the tuna and though the sauce was great, the fish was a little fishy. Pay attention when the server tells you about the day's specials - the tamales ate the best you can find.
