“Nice location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed today NEW

The astomphere and the design of the hotel is great. One Starbucks is just downstairs. But the club down stairs was a little loud. The location is ideal. It's close to everywhere. The staffs there are nice.

My favorite Portland hotel.

Why? 3 things: Location; near 23rd, best restaurants and Pearl district (also best food trucks in PDX right across the street!) Service; I lost a receipt - 1 person, 1 minute- done! The staff was super nice and it's been that way consistently the last 3 times I've been there. Last; Character & Style. It's posh but unassuming.

Downsides: (1) It can get pricey, but plan in advance and you can usually find a good rate. (2) If you drive, overnight valet is also expensive, but same deal for Marriott or many others. Find a local overnight parking spot for less. (3) Some rooms facing the street can get noisy at night. Others have a bummer view of the building next door... but all are decorated in comfy way and are not shoeboxes with generic furniture.

Room Tip: Newer section above the ballrooms (elevator near lobby) quieter, less quirky. Older section up the s...

Great staff and location. Only one issue I had was the room was too warm for me. Just fine for husband. Lovely building and nice décor. Easily able to walk to just about anywhere in town.

Everything was good. The room was really nice, the staff were nice, it's in a good location. It is expensive though. They should think about including a free breakfast at least. The bar seemed really popular.

Superb location and friendly staff. High quality rooms quiet and restful. Jakes restaurant downstairs provides a great meal. Unbeatable city location close to public transit and all tour sites in the city.

This was our second time staying there and it was once again amazing. I emailed the consierge with a special request because i proposed to my girlfriend that weekend. They were instantly on top of it and even upgraded my room. I can't thank them enough.

Great experience. Beautifully appointed - from the lobby, to the bar, restaurant, work out facility. The room was amazing. Felt like I did not want to leave the room. But, with the location, there is so much within walking distance. Just a great time. Wifi was great - easy to log in - good signal throughout hotel and restaurant
