We had plans to eat dinner elsewhere, but the spot was closed because it was the night before Thanksgiving, so we walked on down the street to this restaurant instead. We four ordered off what seemed a very limited menu. Two had the coq au vin and two had the braised short ribs with pasta. The chicken was tasty, but very small portions. The short rib dish came in a big bowl that was 80% inedible, overcooked pasta topped with five bite size pieces of dried out beef. Horrible! However, when the server brought the dessert menu, it was four pages long and the light bulb went on: this is a place Portland folk go for dessert, NOT dinner food!! The desserts were OK.."store bought", not homemade, by the taste of them. Won't ever try it again for dinner OR dessert!
