“Yummy Cuban Fare”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

My husband and I along with our 13yr old visited Pambiche last night. We heard it had great authentic cuban fare. Well, we were not disappointed. The food was really good; the ambiance was casual and fun; and the service was fantastic. They also had both gluten free and vegetarian options. The seating inside is limited but they had a fair amount of outside seating so the wait was not too long. The restaurant does not have a parking lot that I noticed so be prepared to park along the road. They also have happy hour and brunch on the weekends.

“Decent Food, Great Local Atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2014

I'm no expert on Cuban food. I had the Pescado Enchilado. The fish and plantains were excellent. The black beans were pretty mediocre. The real great thing about the restaurant was its porch dining. It's a great place for a early evening beer (I had Xingu) on a cool summer night.

“Good Cuban Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2014

This place is awesome. If you're looking for some authentic Cuban food, friendly staff and decent prices, then this is definitely the place to go. The drinks and the desserts they serve are top class as well. The only (minor) downside is that if you're sitting outside, it's kind of loud, since the restaurant is on one of the busier streets of Portland. Other than that I highly recommend this place though.

“Mixed feelings: be ready for a heavy digestion”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2014

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. The food is exquisite but almost impossible to digest. Really! I have been there three times, tried different dishes and had a heart burn for days after that in every single occasion.

The ambiance is very lively but the place is small, super crowed and very loud.

Service is good with real Cuban happiness. I would recommend going between lunch and dinner for a dessert, instead for a proper meal. Flan is exquisite as well as guaba sweet empanadas. And those agree with me!

“No better deal than happy hour for authentic Cuban food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

Seriously, if you don't mind eating before 6pm like most people in Portland, there is no better deal for great Cuban food. The cocktail list is expansive and they have one fantastic banana daiquiri.
