Airport hotels are not my favorite. However, I usually find they are convenient and predictable. In this case, my minimal expectations were not met. The room was not ready. The pool was so overchlorinated that my swimsuit was ruined. The hotel staff was defensive and not at all helpful. There are no restaurants in the area. As hotels in the area go, there are several better options.

This was my second stay at this property, which is very convenient to the I-205 freeway. Both times, the room was clean, modern and well set up. Wi-fi worked right away with no fuss.

I didn't need to have much interaction with the staff, but there were no hassles. The breakfast was adequate to get me going for the day, and I was pleased to see a staff person actively maintaining the breakfast operation, and being friendly at the same time.

My only complaints, and they are minor, are limited parking and a pretty slow elevator.

This was my first stay at a Spring Hill Suites and I thought it was very good. Very nice, large room, nice property overall. Just as nice as Courtyard, if not better.

A great place to stay for an overnighter. Very convenient to PDX, with free airport shuttle. The staff is very professional and friendly. The rooms are very fresh and updated.

Parking can get very tight at night and you may have to park at the adjoining Holiday Inn Express for a stall. At night it can get a little noisy with planes flying over and the train tooting its horn.

The positives far outweigh the negatives. I would most likely stay here again, if visiting the Portland area.
