We decided to take advantage of Portland's restaurant week and try Portland Prime. We enjoyed very nice salads as a starter; they allowed my husband to do the Caesar. The chopped salad was very good and he enjoyed his as well. The focaccia bread was warm and covered with a garlic butter. The salad was followed with a palate cleansing lemon sorbet We both choose the prime rib entree which was a good serving size and cooked as requested. Dessert was a nice portion and again, they allowed a second option of keylime pie. I would say the crust was too thick and hard to get through the bread pudding was good but I would have liked a little more sauce as the pudding was a little dry. Our waitress Patti was attentive and paced the meal well. I would recommend this restaurant if you are willing to spend the dollars.
