“Soooo good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

This place was awesome. I had not had handmade noodles like that before and now they are all I want. Loved being able to customize the spiciness of my meal and the prices were great...as were the tennis balls on the bottom of the chairs :) Why am I so far away from you Frank's Noodle House?!

“Everything was Great!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

Homemade noodles, varied menu, affordable prices, perfect-sized portions, friendly service, relaxed atmosphere...What's not to love about this place??!! The server explained the spiciness scale to us and our orders were cooked perfectly. Conveniently located in the Lloyd District of Portland in a converted classic Craftsman-style home, we highly recommend this restaurant.

“Great Place, good food,Cheap!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

We were staying around the corner and stumbled on this little house with the resturant. It was packed so we tried it, amazing!! My husband is a very picky eater since he was in the resturant biz, but this place blew him away for quality, freshness, and price, unbelievable. Two of us ate full meals with soup at lunch for $13! If you are visiting Portland , you have to stop here at least once.
The address is:822 NE Broadway, it is around the Lloyd Center , which is across the bridge from Downtown. So worth the visit.

“Delicious & authentic with no pretensions”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

Ate lunch at this cafe on a lovely summer day, at one of a half-dozen tables on the front porch, traffic a bit noisy but trumped by the fresh air. Service was fast & attentive. The relish of kimchi and pickled daikon pieces was on the table immediately and the first course (choice of 2 soups) was offered even before lunch was ordered. Had the handmade noodles with pork, medium spicy (waiter offers a choice of spicy from none to very), delicious with succulent noodles, crunchy vegetables and tasty roast pork! They appear to do a lively take-out business in addition to eat-in at lunch. Limited beer & wine options available.
