“A really special, elegant garden.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2012

This is a place to visit to reflect on how man and nature can exist in harmony. It is wonderful and should be visited at different times of the year, and if possible, on week days, when it draws fewer people.

“This is Portland's number one scenic attraction.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2012

I cannot think of a nicer place to visit in Portland. That includes any time of the year. We have recommended it to all of our friends who visit Portland and for those who go - they are never disappointed. I even took an architect friend - who is not easily impressed - and he loved it. If you get a chance to attend a Moon Viewing in the fall - take it! It's such a beautiful place!

“A Little Bit of Zen”

Plush and beautiful, the Japanese Garden is spell binding. Take a tour with a docent to learn about the history and flora, sit for a spell, or enjoy the offerings of the wonderful gift shop.
