“Beautiful and Fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2014

spacious and beautiful park with many places to visit, lots of bike/walk/run trails. Tennis courts and many other activities. No reason to skip this park, even on a rainy day.

“Huge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2014

Roses are fantastic. Tall trees nice trails. A great spot, you don't have to kill all day there, but mosey on up to the rose garden or Japanese garden. We were so tired from walking!

Relax and take in the scents and sounds of Portland- a park worth strolling thru on the way to the Gardens.

“A beautiful park right off the MAX”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2014

Although my wife and I wanted to go to forest park, Washington Park was more convenient because it was off the MAX rail line. The park itself is beautiful, a lot of trees and a lot of hiking trails. There is even a lookout to see Mt. St. Helens and other mountains but it was a cloudy day for us. There is quite a bit to do around there such as the Forest Museum, Rose Garden, and Japanese garden but they pretty much all cost $10 a person, so we didn't explore those options. Still a great park to visit on a nice day.
