Stayed 4 nights at this hell-hole. Never again! Area is even more creepy than last time ; broken-down car with 4 flat tires in one of the parking spaces, suspicious looking women peering over the upstairs railing as you went to your room each evening. Front desk was helpful, each day we had to go ask them for basics: washcloths, soap, plastic glasses. The housekeeper never changed the sheets the whole stay, and was miserly with leaving towels etc. Noisy-YES! Safe? Hmmm..., Clean? NOT! The mattress was fairly recent, but the boxspring should have gone to the dump a long time ago. Crusted and filthy! To get hot water you had to run it for over 2 minutes, wasting a lot. We're looking elsewhere next time!

I booked this motel sight unseen. Huge mistake. Prepare to get very little sleep because this hotel is on a corner of a very busy, noisy street. It is also right across from Exotica (a strip club!!) There were some creepy looking men walking around the parking lot talking on their cell phones. This is the first time that I have ever had to push a table in front of the door because this motel was in such a terrible location. I was even worried about my cars safety outside in the parking lot!
To make things even worse there was a small hole in the wall by the floor and a hole on the blanket. The room was very small. Also their idea of a continental breakfast is coffee and muffins. No juice, milk, cereal,or even hot water to make tea. :+( .
Portland has a lot of hotels so avoid this one.

The only good thing about this place was the price. Scary looking people seemed to be living there and not just travelers looking for a place for a night. The outside is very run down, but they were painting and working on it while we were there. The room seemed ok and much better than the outside appeared but I was already turned off to the place. On a very busy intersection and the only other place to walk to was a fast food place to eat. Only for just passing through people like we were.... not close enough to the airport and not near the "city" that you came to see. I did not want to be in the parking lot by myself at all and was concerned with the security of my car overnight. Lobby was fair and check in people were nice; did not have to deal with anyone else.

First we were booked into a room that was occupied, then we were put in a room under renovation. The hotel was being updated? I had made reservation 3 months in advance, and was told at check in they were all booked up so that is why we were put in an unfinished room. The ceiling was being redone due to roof leaks. I awoke in the middle of the night to a soaked bed. The roof leaked. Then at daybreak, it really started raining and the ceiling was now leaking in 8 places. The staff brought buckets. By now the ceiling was sagging due to the amount of water it held. We were then told the manger would be in by 7:30. We vacated the room to wait in the lobby arriving at 7:30. Forget about a continental breakfast, nothing was there, even though it is a part of the price. The manager lives on site, yet could not get there until 8:15, 45 minutes after we were told he would be there. The only saving grace, we got a full refund.
This is not to mention that the hotel sits on a busy intersection and is LOUD in the rooms. Do not bother, No amount of low pricing can compensate for the low quality of the rooms, the staff the location etc. Save your money and book elsewhere.

This is a horrible place to stay with an incompetent staff. The only good things about it are the relatively cheap price for this area (~$40/night) and working wireless internet. We did not get our Ea$y Choice stamps/credit for staying 2 nights here because they "didn't have any stamps," or at least couldn't find any in the junk drawer filled with old cookies and broken pens that they attempted to look in. We had to ask for a 2nd set of towels both days of our stay, and our card-swipe room keys got deactivated one day early because they "forgot" that we were staying 2 days. When we tried to go get our continental breakfast one morning, the door to the office/lobby was locked and no one was inside -- we could see breakfast sitting on the counter through the window, but got tired of standing around outside in the cold waiting for someone to come back and open the door. Our pillows were of 2 different sizes for our one queen bed, and the pillowcases were rather dirty. They also advertised HBO, but we did not actually get it. And they don't know how to send in credit for Southwest airlines rapid rewards program.

On the plus side, we were not kept awake by traffic noise at night, even though it is in a very industrial area.
