“Great Location, Quite”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

Was in Portland a couple of weeks ago and stayed at the Park Lane for two nights. The location was perfect and staff was very nice. Our room was very quite. Close to the transit-way and to some nice restaurant. Don't hesitate to ask the staff for advise. we did and do regret it.

We highly recommend it.

Room Tip: Our room was on the 5th floor. Definitly, very quite.

If you are going to Portland, OR and don't want to spend a lot money on a comfortable, clean and somewhat centrally located motel, this one fits the bill. The service was fine and the staff courteous,
It's a good 15 min walk downtown and a 30 min back up, Exercise is the key here. You can spend a lot more and then you'll have to pay for parking and also wireless. So with a little exercise you can save on parking. Also the rooms do not have any rugs, which is great. They are laminate wood floors which keeps the germs and dust to a minimum.
No problems- hair dryer included with extra blanket- you'll find them in the bureau draw.

Room Tip: There a limited rooms with a view of the city- just ask- we had one and saw the city through the rai...

Went to Portland for a four day food and wine festival and this hotel was just the ticket. As most other reviewers have stated, it is nothing fancy but it's also not over $200.00 a night like the downtown hotels are. We used public transit throughout our stay and found that you could walk to the corner hop on the TriMet and get into the city and beyond within a few minutes. I liked having the small kitchen available, which is nice when your traveling because you can take your dinner leftovers with you and heat them up the next day for lunch. We even made breakfast each morning before heading out for our day's adventure.
Located in a beautiful neighborhood, around the corner from Zupan's Market (lovely upscale market), coffee, drugstore and many great little restaurants. Quite location with the sleeping area backing up to a lush green hill, perfect for a great night's sleeping. One block to transit, for $5.00 you can ride all day long hop on a #20, two stops for the Red Line to the airport or the Blue Line to Pioneer Square. What's not to love about an affordable hotel that can give you all that?

stayed here after arriving in Portland; it was a great location for walking to a wonderful restaurant and was clean and comfortable. Not fancy but great for overnight. We were picked up for a tour of Portland and it was very convenient. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Small but great for our purpose.

Room Tip: if you want a bigger room choose a suite or room with frig and microwave but just for sleeping rooms...

We stayed for one night in a room in the building over the road from the main building which was very clean and comfortable. It is set back from the road so is quiet. Good location for the rose test gardens - about 10 minutes walk - also 23rd street which has great bars and restaurants. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend.

Not too far from the rosegarden and a few minutes ride by streetcar to downtown Portland this inn offers simple, but functional and clean rooms. Walls are thin, so you might hear your neighbours easily. Complementary tea, coffee, water and cookies in the lobby.
