“Flavor with coronary”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

Really, this place rocks! It's beyond tasty and delicious and all your hopes and dreams get served on that little plate. It's not for everyday, but for a treat it's a great morning nosh. Get there early or expect a wait, there virtually no seating, but it's so dang worth it.

“Biscuits?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

The best place for breakfast hands down. The gravy was superb. The service was a bit slow, however, there is always a line. Fried chicken was to die for and the cornmeal pancakes. Wonderful

“Delicious Bisquits and Gravy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

It was TINY, very cramped inside. BUT it was worth the trip and the experience. They told me they were moving into larger digs soon. I hope so.

“A Great Breakfast Spot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

This restaurant is a great place, especially on a weekday, when there is not such a bad line. It works in a funny way, but it works. You line up before ordering, and you don't claim a table (or a spot at the counter) until after you order. Somehow, it always works out that by the time your order is up, a seat has opened up as well. The biscuits are very tasty, and the gravy is excellent. I have enjoyed everything I've gotten here, and I've tried most everything they offer. It's cheap, too.

“Too Good!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Alright everyone loves the food here but hates the wait. I'm a native of Portland and I never wait for food, too many choices.

I only go here during the week mid morning, no wait, pleanty of seats and super good food.

I like the Reggie Royal and grits with shrimp best.
