Haven't yet tried all of the menu, but have worked through half of it. Only gone to the location in North Portland. Usually have to wait, but it is ok, the line moves relatively quickly. Great coffee. Only problem is that the gravy is so good that you will want a side of it, good thing that is an option.
I grew up in this neighborhood so I know about Belmont St. This joint is way over rated! My friends from Ca. Read these great reviews and insisted we go there...I warned them ..but we went anyway. The place is a tiny hole in the wall and crowds flock for breakfast ...they got an order and we walked a 1/2 block to a closed bar with tables outside to eat... A big disappointment. It's just ok for a biscuit sandwich. Forget this place ...if you need a eggs muffin go to Mickey dees!

The place is always crowded so don't be in a hurry. The food is worth the line but I tend to go during the week when the line is much less overwhelming.
We have now visited this restaurant three times. We go everytime we are in town, the food is great. Try the Reggie Deluxe, Blueberry Cornmeal Pancakes and the Sweet Tea. The staff are friendly and there is always great music playing. It's usually very crowded but by the time you get your food you can normally find a seat. Try this place you won't regret it.

Tried the biscuits on a recommendation (had it at the farmer's market, not the storefront), and was not disappointed. Wonderful mushroom gravy, and great marionberry jam.
