“Ideal retreat destination”

Wildsprings more than satisfied our need for a retreat. Many thanks for the thoughtful reading library, the fully stocked kitchen in the guest house (bonus points for the microplane zester!), the delicious breakfasts and the magical grounds. My fantasy use for this place would be a small group taking up all five cabins, in order to have the guest house and grounds all to yourselves. Regardless, I like the kind of people that are attracted to meditative spaces, and enjoyed relaxed conversations with some of the other guests. The view from the front porch of our sweet Annwyn cabin was of natural deep forest. The cabin itself was both luxurious and comfortable - I felt pampered. Nice showers. Oh, and I found the swing!

What a breath of fresh air! For our 4th anniversary and first time away from our daughter, our two nights at WildSpring Guest Habitat were what we needed. We never met Michelle, but Dean was accommodating and friendly, the breakfasts were truly gourmet, the ambiance serene and cozy, and our cabin (cabin #4) was stylish and comfortable. Sunbeams seemed to be seeping through the tall fir canopy all day, providing an ethereal environment in which all weight was lifted off our minds/shoulders. Time spent quietly chatting with your best friend in a hammock is never time wasted. I could go on (there's a rope swing!), but suffice it to say we were sad to leave. Since this is a review, I will mention that the only distractions were momentary traffic noises from the highway below, but you can't hear that from the cabins. That's the only negative thing I could come up with.

WildSpring Guest Habitat is the perfect inn for the traveller who likes to be independent, and needs a deep sleep in a charming woodland cabin. This is a beautifully cared for place. It’s clean, it’s well managed, and everything works. I loved the short walk to the communal guest house. The pathways are magical, full of garden art and sculpture that quietly appear, transforming their spot into a little world. It makes you slow down, and take in the moment, and perhaps notice the deer in the distance.

Breakfast in the guest house was a carefully prepared help-yourself situation with delicious hot treats and healthy choices. Our hosts had thought of everything. And later in the day it was a relief to be able to access a fully equipped kitchen. As a weary traveller the pleasure of making one’s own coffee can be huge.

But back to the enchanted forest. I will always remember walking back to our cabin at night, down a pathway through the ferns, following the glow of my flashlight, with a bag of popcorn under my arm and an action thriller DVD.

Room Tip: try to get the most secluded cabin

We arrived on a dark and stormy night and were met with smiles and breakfast instructions. Our cabin was cosy and full of wonderful touches. Waking up the next day, with the mist floating low and deer stepping around the enormous trees, was absolutely magical. You will not regret your stay here. Be sure to treat yourself to a crab sandwich at the Crazy Norwegian's Cafe.

My husband and I stumbled upon this truly beautiful place because we didn't want to settle for a $219 hotel room so I began the search online at 7:00pm on Aug 30th.
I was searching online for a cabin that was cozy, up to date in design, private, and just had that home away from home feel. I luckily found Wlid Springs a few minutes after beginning my search and even though the office was closed for the evening, Michelle & Dean answered my email and got us set up in the Raintree cabin within 10 minutes of contacting them.
Boy are we glad we found it!

When we arrived within an hour they had everything set up for us!
We were welcomed with a little packet complete with map of the grounds, flashlight & the key to our cozy cabin. The cabin was everything we'd hoped for and more! We loved the heated floors, lovely sitting room, amazing spa like bathroom, and the very comfortable bed & bed linens.

We informed Michelle & Dean how excited we were to try out the spa hot tub when we got there so they made sure to have it all warmed up for us in time for our arrival.
The Spa hot tub was AMAZING!
Very large with a spectacular view!

They even prepared Breakfast for us the next morning & it was wonderful!

The only regret we have is not booking more than 1 night!
We will recommend this place to anyone and everyone who is traveling on the oregon coast!

An unforgettable experience!

Room Tip: We loved the Raintree cabin!

Just returned from our Oregon coast road trip and truly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Wildspring. Stayed in Cabin 2, which was perfect! The innkeeper owners are super at staying in the background, while still being attentive to being sure your needs are met. We had 2 wonderful breakfast entrees during our stay, with a beautiful ocean view while eating on the deck. This is a place to relax, have quiet time and commune with nature. The whole property is beautiful, and we felt we had entered a unique forest sanctuary. We even managed to squeeze in a day trip to see the redwoods in northern CA.

The other reviews say it all. This is a special place run by special people. But if you like Holiday Inns and Hiltons and big cities, and even big name luxury resorts (which this is not...although it is certainly luxury) you will still be advised to stay here. The nearby Red Bird restaurant is also worth the visit.

Room Tip: Book early to get shade or sun. All rooms are great and private.
