After reading the two negative reviews I had concerns. BUT I have been going to B&Bs for the last 30 years and know that some people should never stay in B&Bs. What I found was an absolute delight! First the home is up to date but weather worn... BECAUSE IT IS ON THE COAST AND SUBJECT to constant wind and for most of the year harsh weather. As with all property a little way away from the water there is massive foliage - impossible to keep watered if the summer is hot and dry so of course like all other property in the area it will turn brown.. Plus this property in on a very large lot. The rooms were beautiful, the environment was relaxing, the food was exactly what most (not all) Bed and Breakfast provide - delicious and plenty of it, the host and hostess were gracious, accomodating and flexible. This couple could not have done more to make my stay top notch! They were completely professional and went (in my opinion) above and beyond what they needed to do. In staying in a B&B one needs to be flexible, realize that people have both good days and bad days, embrace the fact that staying in a B&B is not just a nights lodging but an experience, be friendly, tolerant, accepting and above all able to go with the flow. Having stayed in B&Bs where the cooking is a -100 I still found that the experience was just that an experience. I would recommend this B&B to everyone!
