“Clean and Friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2013

I was impressed by the beautiful rose garden, the lilacs were in bloom, the fragrance was wonderful. Candice greets you with a warm smile, and makes you feel welcome. The housekeepers take extra time to meet the needs of the guests, and the rooms are clean. Quite impressive is Timber (the wolf) who sits in the yard and enjoys his days. There is an out door covered area with a kitchen and a grill. All in all I had a wonderful 7 days.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

Stayed here before a day of skiing at Willamette Pass a few days ago. For $42 (including taxes) we got a warm, comfortable room with a clean and newly remodeled bathroom, comfortable bed, nice TV and anything else you could want in a place to sleep. It was basic, but well cared for, clean, and comfortable. Couldn't ask for anything more and I've seen way worse for twice the price. Highly recommended and I will stay there again if I ever need a motel in Oakridge.

We stayed 5 nights (12/26-12-31/12). Towel rack which fell off wall was fixed as requested the same day. Bed was fine. An older motel with paint and plaster peeling on bathroom walls. TV was great - WiFi said limited access and we were never able to get online. An average stay for the best price in town.

Room Tip: Request room away from Hwy 58..

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback on our service. We have taken note of the issues with the paint and are in the process of addressing all of our rooms. This year was very busy and each year bring new repair and touch up chores. We apologize for the trouble with the wifi please let us know in the future, we could have helped you get connected. We have a total of five connections and depending on your location on the property some are stronger than others. Thank you for your stay and we hope to see you in the future.

A fine place for an overnight stay. Quaint, clean, very reasonable rate ($39 winter). Free wifi, flat screen tv on the wall. Clean soft bath towels. Decent bed... I would stay here again without hesitation. Nothing fancy just good honest lodging.

Nice place to stay during the summer. They have ac so on a warmer day you can stay comfortable. Great pricing! And the owner and his pooch were really nice to visit with. There is a place a couple of doors down that makes a great pizza/ calzone if you're hungry. And the spot across the street is fantastic for breakfast.

We stopped here as part of a 4 night road trip from Seattle to San Fran. Oakridge is a small , quiet town which was exactly what we were after. We picked this motel as it presented well and we were happy to stay in independent motels for our road trip. The motel was clean and exactly what we were looking for for our one night stopover. The owner was friendly and the rate was very good (about $60 for a king bed off the top of my head).

I would recommended staying at the bluewolf if your driving through Oakridge and are after a good value room.

We stayed at the Bluewolf as a quick stop between two destinations, but we hope to return. Oakridge was lovely. The motel was a fantastic value. Everything was clean, tidy, and well kept. Candis was extremely kind and helpful. We spoke to her about visiting Oakridge in the future and she had many suggestions for activities there.

I know when we made the booking we were a little wary of what the place would be like because the price was so low, but it exceeded all expectations. Would strongly reccommend the place to anyone staying in Oakridge or just passing through.
