“A Great Lucky Find on the Oregon Coast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

Traveled on the spur of the moment to the Oregon Coast - did not do reservations and got absolutely lucky with this find! The Mill Casino was initially just a dinner stop - that turned into an overnight stay. Sean / Asst Hotel Mgr helped us at check in - very nice young man - knowlegable, helpful, and a pleasure to deal with after a long day driving. Bravo Sean! Upon checking with there hotel, they had very reasonable rates in what appeared to be a nice upscale Casino Hotel. Bell service was available and complimentary car valet service - separate from the casino's was fast and efficient. The room was themed as old west / lodge but nice amenities and very comfy beds. Free WiFi - a coffee maker with really GOOD coffee, lots of complimentary bath items such as nice shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, good bath soap, face soap, shower cap, and sewing kit. Great fluffy towels and face cloths. We had dinner in their steak house -and prices were very reasonable and food was very good. Service was a bit lacking in the restaurant, but atmosphere, and food very good. The cafe offered a decent breakfast for a reasonable price that we partook of before leaving the next day. Nice late checkout - 12 PM. Casino was nice - macjines not crowed together - not a huge amount of people - so was comfortable gambling there... and even managed to break even :-) Definitely would stay here again if I am in the area.

Room Tip: Rooms over looking the front of the hotel were significantly less expensive than the "River Vie...

Mill Hotel and Casino, went down to visit family and got a room there. Nice room, clean and comfortable. Pool was very nice and wife liked the treadmill and the view out the window while working out. Casino was very smoky and very tight played one night and the next morning and 6 bucks was my biggest win, not good. Was excellent weather and a good trip, really did like the hotel and would stay there again but can't recommend the slots there.

Room Tip: east side has bay view, cost a bit more but nice view.

The room was very cramped with a view of the parking lot. Seemed over priced for what we got. There were no extra blankets or pillows in the room. They were very nice when we asked, but had to call again several hours later before they showed up. The Buffett is only open on Tuesdays, so we had to venture out to find more family friendly menu. Our 8 yr old daughter liked the pool, but the chairs were hard to sit in and watch her. (NO CUSHINS). The arcade was very basic, but we did enjoy a few rounds of air hockey and some pinball. All of us woke cranky and sore, the beds were not good. We expected more for $159.00 per night!

Only one issue with our stay. Water pressure in the shower was way to low. Bed was excellent.

Views can be good if not foggy. Restaurants in complex were excellent. We enjoyed our visit.

Recommend complex.

Room Tip: Enjoy the stay.

My husband and I stayed in a 5th floor tower king room and we absolutely loved it. The room was immaculate, very spacious, and we had a beautiful view. The price was very reasonable and the staff made us feel very welcome so we are planning another trip there very soon. I highly recommend this hotel!

I recieved a free nights stay at the Mill Casino in North Bend. The room was nice and very clean. I was even impressed with the view (and i live here) in the morning. The way the sunlight glistened on top of the calm water was just amazing. Reminded me why i love living on the coast. The gal at the hotel check in was AMAZING - they had no rooms for me but she took my name and called me within 15 minutes - she found me a room. I was treated very well and happy that i stayed. I would recommend this location to friends and family.

Room Tip: Get a room with the bay view. It is an amazing sight to see.

We stayed at the 7th floor tower room over looking the mill, the bay, and the parking lot for one night with a 4 night reservation, but checked out the next morning. The staff is very courteous, the room is very clean and new, but it was just very, very noisy. The doors to every room is spring loaded, so every time a door closes, it slams. Imagine listening to door slamming all day and all night. The motorcycle parking was right below our room, and in the morning starting at dawn the Harley people started up their motorcycles and left them running while they bantered. There were guests who left their dogs in their vehicles, and we could hear the dogs barking constantly from our 7th floor room. There was a baby next door and it was crying all night. The plumbing to the rooms was done so that you could hear conversations going on in other rooms through your shower drain without even trying. We were hoping for a quiet and relaxing trip, but had to leave and go elsewhere.

Room Tip: Very noisy even from the 7th floor. Not sure if there is a way to avoid the noise.
