Nothing really wrong, but only plan on a 5 minute viewing... Not too much to see here, but stop if you've got a few extra minutes.

“Go thru the right side (near the shops first”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2012

Hum, crazy bowl. I did not know where this bowl was, but found it right smack in front of me along the street. If you go the wrong way, you see the coast facing south. That's okay, it is a short walk, but the bowl is really odd where it is. Massive, and kinda neat. Spend 10 minutes, then go up to other places.

“awesome formation!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

In summer, pick a good low tide, and you can walk from the marine gardens beach totally inside the Punch Bowl! Impressive huge rounded boulders from when the dome must have collapsed many years ago, and marvel at the huge walls surrounding you. Plus lots of interesting intertidal critters - sea stars, crabs, etc. Then go back during a winter storm, stand at the fence edge looking down from Mo's Otter Rock parking lot, and you can get wet from the waves and spray frothing up from the bowl below. An incredible contrast!

“Fine but not spectacular”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012

It was nice, but I've been on better hikes in the Oregon area. However, parts of it were very accessible if you need ease.

“Hundreds of sea stars”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

Even on a foggy afternoon, Devil's Punch Bowl will not disappoint. We saw hundreds of sea stars, hermit crabs, and three kinds of chitons. We will be back!
