“Serious beer and food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

Ok, so on first glance this place looks like a biker joint where one could get a beer and a beating for 50 cents. But, push that aside and this place is all about serious beer and serious food. The atmosphere is early dockside wharf warehouse with drunken sailors singing "Yo Ho Hum and a Bottle of Rum."

First the beer. I don't know how many beers they have on tap but, there's a lot. You can sample any before ordering a pint. They take this stuff serious with different name for each beer and some colorful yet expert explanations. Be prepared to enjoy well crafted handmade beers. Take a designated driver.

Second the food. Serious food with equally serious serving sizes and and quality. I had the halibut and chips and my wife had the Salmon salad we split the Mac & Cheese. Both were excellent and we washed it all down with a couple nice draft beers.

If you can get past the initial impression of the place that you're gonna have to fight your way in and out - then you're in for a real treat. Checkout the gift shop on the way out.

“Spot on Apps!”

Kobe Blueballs, Buff wings, Idaho spuds, all great and the tasters as well! I went back with the Hazelnut brew for an additional pint, then the "reds" were great with the spuds! You really can't go wrong with these award winning beers!

“Sit by the window!”

Nice view, decent food, and many options for beer. We enjoyed multiple free samples and a nice view with jellyfish swimming around the docks.

“Great place - good food and drink”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

Visited Rogue's as part of a business conference event. I would definitely go back. Great food and lots of beer choices. They even have a great Root Beer so those who don't drink (like myself) have something besides water/sodas to drink.

I had the Kobe burger. Very good. And the onion rings were fantastic.

“Favor Stop in Newport, Oregon”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

We always stop here when we are in Newport. The Kobe Bleu burger was the best. A Crab melts was enjoy by my wife. We tried 9 samples, there was only one that was not to our liking. The only thing we could ask for is more help in the bar area. Dave has been there every time; you can tell he is a nice guy, but too busy to answer our questions or make suggestions. He is an asset to your staff. See you again soon.
