I don't understand what some people are expecting in an updated property. The operative word here is updated, not new. They don’t gut the properties…just update them. We liked our room. The bed was comfortable, the TV's large, the bathroom was a nice size, It was clean and I wasn’t expecting sterile so I was not disappointed. A few scuffs on the walls, bits of dust and dirt in the corners, small chips to the bathroom sink area, to be expected even if you have a top notch cleaning crew. Few properties are lucky enough to get overachievers in that area. I have found that one polite friendly call to the front desk gets anything annoying solved and we don’t give it another thought for the rest of our stay.
We had a suite. Kitchen, bedroom living area and bathroom. Plenty of room for the two of us and our two furry kids. Having a full size fridge was great and the living area fit the blanket and play yard enclosure for our furry family perfectly. No urine smell anywhere, another plus. The halls seem to be in good condition and we liked being on the top middle floor for the quiet. Got a call from the front desk to see if everything was OK and that was appreciated.
The Inn is not on the beach but that wasn’t our priority. It does have breakfast but we usually eat a very late breakfast and just get coffee if it is still being offered. There is a pool, spa and exercise room but we won’t use them. We chose this place for the size of the room, the price being under $90 and the La Qunita name. Yes, we would return and would feel comfortable referring friends.
Top floor mid is quiet.
