“West coast Italian”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2012

Pasquale's is not upscale or chichi, just typical old school west coast Italian food. Places like Pastime in Walla Walla are long gone, replaced by wine bars and bistros. I hope it never happens in Newberg....the rose bushes outside the windows, the old pictures and maps on the wall, employees peeling garlic at the tables....and the big slabs of garlicked bread, followed by huge plates of pasta...

“Depressing place and terrible food”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2012 via mobile

How can you mess up a meatball if you are an Italian restaurant? I walked in and immediately was sorry but I was hungry and drove around in circles trying to find the place. Everything looked old, plastic, colorless. Like some old and tired dinette from the 60's. The little plate of antipasta contained a couple is slices of salami and a couple of slices of pepperoni, a couple of wax peppers, a couple of pieces of cheddar cheese. Then the spaghetti with two horrible meatballs that tasted like they came from the freezer after you had a bunch of old stuff just rotting in there. Awful!

“Pizza like no other, almost another type of food and it is wonderful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2012 via mobile

Been coming here since it opened some 30 years ago. Although i almost always get my food to go or for delivery the seating area is nice. I love the pizza which is the big draw for me, it is quite diffferent (unique semi-thick crust). The place is affordable, family owned and just a one-of-a-kind meal when coming through or staying in the Newberg area.
Portions are generous and you won't find cookiecutter dishes, everything i've had has either been made from scratch or seemed like it.

“Go to Papa Murphy's”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2011

The food is OK, but they charge way too much for so-so pizza. Call me an east coast snob - but it ain't pizza, Service was a bit underwhelming too.

“Delicious and Friendly every time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2011

We ALL get the spaghetti w/meat sauce. Mmmmm good. Some get the half-order, some the full order. And it comes with a basket of wonderful garlic bread. Sometimes the spaghetti is on the "special" board, with a reduced price. Can't beat that! And you also get your choice of soup or salad. AND you get a small antipasta dish for the table. We always leave full. No room for dessert...
