The Good: Beer, ales, etc. With all due respect to those who call Newberg home, this is not a city with quality watering holes. So the fact that there is even a brewery has to be viewed as an aberration. But it's not, because for those of you familiar with Oregon know that there seems to be some unwritten state law mandating a brewery in any community with more than 10,000 citizens. Chehalem Valley fulfills that obligation, and does so with gusto. Try their IPA's.
The Bad: Little food. True, they are a tasting room. But still. It is only the lack of a true variety like you'll find in other brew pubs that prevents me from giving this place a higher rating. I like to camp out at a brewery for sporting events. Here, you can do a half.
The Ugly: The location. Oh how they would benefit from a spot that one can access from both sides of the street. You pretty much have to be driving south into Newberg to get in here without a hassle. It can be done when driving north, but not during heavy traffic.
