“LePuy - c'est merveilleux!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2012

We love LePuy and have enjoyed both our "visits" immensely. The setting: a bucolic valley with lovely views and close proximity to a number of wonderful wineries. The Inn: relaxed yet elegant interiors and welcoming atmosphere provide the perfect place to explore Oregon's wine country. Andy and Lea provide impeccable hospitality, fabulous breakfasts with locally sourced delights, and are a great resource in helping to plan the "perfect day." We can't wait to go back!

This was our second visit to Le Puy. Both visits were spent in the Thunder room which we have found to be bright, comfortable and roomy. The Inn is a wonderful place to stay. A feeling of serenity enhanced by a beautifully decorated interior, impeccably kept grounds, and two people , Lea and Andy, that care about their guests. I am particularly impressed by Lea and Andy's ability to address my dietary needs while still presenting beautifully plated food using local ingredients. The closeness of the Inn to the wine country and the wonderful view of the hills from our room were just extra added pluses!

My wife and I spent two nights at Le Puy last week while visiting Oregon's wine country. We felt immediately at home thanks to Lea and Andy's gracious welcome and the serenity of the inn. The view of the Chehalem mountains from our bedroom window complimented the understated elegance of the inn and its grounds. Andy and Lea's background in architecture (which we learned about while chatting with them) shines through in every pristine detail. Breakfast was inventive and delicious, our room a haven of peaceful and relaxing comfort When we return to Oregon (a long way from our home in Georgia, unfortunately), we will not consider staying anywhere else.

Room Tip: Each room has a particular theme and the informative website can be very helpful in selecting a room...

Le Puy is a unique and special combination of friendly hospitality, luxurious amenities, scenic vistas and delicious, homemade and locally grown food for breakfast. We expected a great experience from looking at the rooms online, but were pleasantly surprised by how Lea & Andy made it so much more than that: sea salt chocolates and hazelnuts in our room, DVDs and popcorn in the Loire room, peaceful seating throughout the house and grounds where you can drink in the views, helpful advice on the best local sights and activities, and lots of great conversation. We highly recommend Le Puy to anyone looking for a great getaway, from honeymoon to casual weekend in wine country. Lea & Andy offer the best hospitality, amenities, and breakfast in town!

This inn is an impeccable delight. My husband & I, "60-somethings", were looking for a place away from it all but within easy reach of vineyards and town markets. I would check every box on the "perfect weekend stay checklist" after two nights in the 'Thunder' room at Le Puy - It was though Lea and Andy anticipated what anyone might desire in the way of comfort - the linens, the iphone speaker dock, fridge in room + picnic accoutrements, the window shades....I secretly suspect they made sure the resident bluebird was perched on his house within view at breakfast - was really delicious. The artfully designed courtyard has a stone obelisk and handsome water feature, which fits into the history of the Inn. There is extensive DVD library in a large room away from the main house where larger families/friends can gather to prepare food, drink, watch films - and gobble up Lea's homemade cookies. Lea steered us to what is now our favorite restaurant in the area and the vineyards she suggested matched what we were looking for.
Finally, the view is serene.

Room Tip: I gave 'location' 4 points only b/c the inn is on a hill above a busy highway - even so, all...

This is the first hotel review I have ever written. But I just have too. My husband and I visited last week with some friends for our first time visiting the Oregon wine county. Le Puy was absolutely amazing and we would definitely stay there again. The rooms were perfect - comfortable beds, everything clean and immaculate, everything you could possibly want in a bed and breakfast. We only stayed two nights....but I wish I had more. The views were incredible, the breakfasts first class and outstanding, everything very warm and inviting. Andy and Lea were wonderful and so helpful with information about the area and everything they suggested was wonderful. Thanks again for a wonderful two days. I would definitely stay again if my husband and I get back out there and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area. Thanks again Andy and Lea!

We agree with everything that other happy guests have written about Andy & Lea's Le Puy! From the first phone call exchanged with Lea to our post-breakfast farewell, this pair of innkeepers provided a first class experience for two experienced travelers. We were referred to Le Puy from a family friend who has high standards for accommodations. In every way he was right about this upscale retreat. It is beautiful inside and out with private and public space that is elegant yet inviting. This energetic couple have combined their many talents and deliver lovely, quiet surroundings with knowlege about wineries, restaurants, outdoor activities and other information that is important to visitors. I cannot over emphasize the degree to which Andy and Lea have anticipated guest comfort. Our room was immaculate, the bed and pillows perfect, the views spectacular, the privacy and peace, complete. Please don't skip breakfast...Andy's coffee and morning meals are gourmet. We would highly recommend Le Puy for individual travlers, couples, families and small groups. The Le Puy campus could also serve as a wonderful base for a smaller-sized business/corporate retreat or strategic planning session. Go for a visit, and stay awhile...it will make you happy!

Room Tip: There are a variety of rooms from which to choose - each as lovely as the next.
