“Uh-Oh!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

Just not clean, and really not much else matters. I stayed here recently and just as I settled down for a much-needed rest I spied a little bug crawling in the bed. This can happen anywhere, it's true, and I give them credit for being gracious and quickly moving me to another room. However, while I didn't see anything live in the new room except myself, it just wasn't clean. There was a "goober" on my sheet (ewww) and the bathroom smelled musty. As the water came out of the faucet in the bathtub there was also a mildew smell. In summary, there are better hotels in Medford and I would view this as a last resort on any future trips there.

Dear Katie,
First off, we'd like to say thanks for the feedback. I understand your stay with us was less than acceptable and your comments will help us address these issues with our staff and ownership. Cleanliness and Service are areas we take pride in and we want each and every person that stays with us to have a positive experience. If there's a time in the future where you find yourself back in the Medford area, we'd love a chance to earn back your business. Feel free to call the hotel (541.770.1234), ask for Brady, and we’ll take care of your next visit.
Again, thanks for your feedback and we hope to hear from you again soon.

We love to stop here when traveling south or north. Rooms are large, well appointed, and clean. Restaurant is very good and reasonable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Has pool. It is worth the few extra dollars. They run many specials.

We stopped here one evening on our journey around the country. It looks nice on the outside and the staff were pleasant. The hotel could use some updating. Our room had a musty smell and the wallpaper was peeling in places. The shower had some mold spots so it definitely needs a little work. It was a decent stay despite the problems noted. It is in a good location and there are lots of restaurants in the area and central to many natural attractions.

We received a gift for date night at the regency, the suite was in the basement ,dark, big and dated. The bdrm furniture was well worn and the mattress pad slipped around on the bed. I found someone else's sock under the bed. The fireplace kicked out a lot of heat., Soundproofing poor ,the upstairs neighbors moved in at 2:30 and woke me up.There was a big 2 person jacuzzi in the room and plastic champagne flutes. Robes were nice and the carpet felt clean on bare feet. The maintenance man was congenial when I called re lighting and actually unscrewed an overhead light , which was on a circuit of lights that would all be on when the reading lamps were all that was needed. Dated and drafty, nothing really suite( sweet) about it, and no Sunday newspaper.

Room Tip: Don't choose a suite unless there is going to be a big gathering

I have traveled to Medford several times this year and always stayed at the Rogue Regency. It is very close to the airport and the hotel runs a 24 hour shuttle which picks you up within 5 minutes of calling. The rooms are somewhat dated but comfortable enough, and include a coffee pot, refrigerator and microwave. The hotel is right across the road from a large Fred Meyer supermarket. The restaurant is quite good for dinner. I especially like that they have a wide selection of Rogue Valley wines available by the glass. The $4.99 breakfast is excellent with about 8 menu choices.
Staff are always welcoming and responsive. In addition to wif-fi,there are computers and a printer in the lobby, along with lots of area information.

Room Tip: Rooms on the first floor are actually in the basement and have very little natural light.

I had business in Medford and this hotel was centrally located for my purposes.

OK, decor is a bit dated, however, that is a very small trade-off for the very helpful staff and excellent restaurant. My dinner and breakfast were superb - especially the French themed dinner.

On Friday and Saturday nights they even have a reasonable priced Comedy Club.

I was traveling alone and felt very safe. I asked the staff for a few favors and every one was meet with no problem and big smiles. I ended up spending time chatting with the desk clerks, waitress and even the Chef. I felt like part of a happy family.

I shall return..
