“Great place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013

The Rodeway Inn in Medford was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We just stayed for one night, but I would have no problem spending multiple nights there. The owners were very friendly, easygoing, and accessible (we didn't get there until 10.30 at night), which also made it feel very safe. Walls were a bit thin, but our neighbors were quiet, so it didn't matter once they turned their TV off (which they did at a reasonable hour). Breakfast was surprisingly good -- hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, waffles, etc. You can't get a nicer place for the same price.

What a great little refurbished motel. It was clean, very friendly, economical and based in a nice town central to the wine region and lots of outdoor outdoor persuits or fishing. Save your money and stay here.

Stayed for just one night, but the manager was very friendly and helpful over the phone. I also appreciated that I could check in anytime I wanted, which was convenient since I didn't arrive until late at night.

The room had a large california king sized bed, was affordable, and offered great amenities such as a microwave, refrigerator, and complimentary wifi. If I am ever passing through Medford again I will definitely stay here!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

We stayed for 2 nights in April, the main purpose of our stay was to visit Crater Lake.

We had a double queen room which was very clean and had a fridge and microwave. The towels and bed linen were also very clean, the towels seemed fairly new as they were very white and fluffy.

There is an undercover car parking space for each room outside the door to your room, there is additional uncovered parking for the larger vehicles. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient.

There is a guest laundry on site which we used and it cost $1.75 to wash and another $1.75 to dry, really good value. Not sure if they sell detergent at reception, there wasn't any in the laundry room and I had brought my own.

The in room wifi was fast and reliable.

The included breakfast was better than expected, it's available from 6am to 9am in reception and there is cereal, waffle maker, juice, coffee, hot chocolate, apples, pastries, yoghurts, English muffins, bagels and hard boiled eggs.

It's about a 2 hour scenic drive from this accommodation to Crater Lake via the west entrance and well worth the drive.

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was quiet considering the proximity to the main road, very comfortable and good value for money. Would recommend it and would stay again.

This is an older motel but nicely renovated and updated. Not luxurious but everything is very clean and the exterior is neat as a pin. Our room has two queen beds, micro, frig, table and chairs, clean carpet, nice bedding. The drapes need some adjustment but that is a minor complaint. Price is very reasonable and the manager/owner gave good advice about our room choice. This is the only motel we have ever seen with covered parking and a dedicated space for our car directly in front of the door. Very unusual but very convenient and much appreciated. All rooms on the ground floor. Lots of shopping and food choices nearby. I am very happy to recommend this motel.

So, we are a retired couple who do not like to stay in hotels/motels. We read the ratings on this Inn and decided to give it a try as we headed north from Arizona, where we wintered. What a pleasant surprise. While it is an older Inn, it is charming, spacious, very clean and friendly. The parking is covered and right in front of your door. All units are ground level with easy access. I could see motorcyclists really liking this spot as they can park right outside their doors in secure/dry area. Just to say....in our messed up world...it is nice to find a place where you receive excellent value and service. We will be back!

We were running late so called ahead to let them know we were still coming. No Problem was the answer. Arrived after midnight in and out of check in less than 5 minutes. Clean room, very comfortable bed. What more does one need. Easy access to/from the I5. Didn't use the breakfast so have no comment on that.
