To me, the name "Super 8" suggests a bedbug-ridden, cheap, thin-walled, alcoholic-infested junkyard tenement with greasy floors, the stench of cigarette smoke permeating even the parking lot, and unkempt, scrawny security guards cowering behind the front desk.
Super 8 is none of these. I'm so glad.
Why did I even bother trying it with such an initially-biased, name-based stereotype? The reviews, of course! It looked like a decent place and was priced right.
