We enjoyed delicious Italian food at this Medford restaurant recently. The place was busy when we arrived at 7:30pm on a Saturday evening, so we were surprised to learn that in the summer they close the door to new customers at 8pm! Apparently they just don't get enough traffic to stay open longer--the tourists don't know how to find them and the locals prefer to eat Italian food in the winter ( that's what we were told!). It's not that hard to find--just a couple of miles and turns off the Garfield exit from I5, but until words gets around, if you want to try their tasty menu you should plan for an early dinner.
I had the Lemon Almond Chicken, which was lovely, though rather rich. Each flavor came through and also worked together. Another diner had the Chicken Pomodori, which was also quite good, but even richer. Our meals came with bread and enormous Caesar salads. FYI, the dressing was heavy on the garlic--fortunately we like that sort of thing, but not everyone does, so that might be something to discuss with your server. There are some lighter items on the menu if your tastes don't run to rich food, but we didn't try any of those. Perhaps if we had, we would have had room for desert, but unfortunately we did not...
Service was good, but a bit slow. Since they were unusually busy and we felt well cared for otherwise, it really wasn't an issue. If you are in a rush this isn't the place for you anyway.
The total cost was very reasonable for a sit down individually prepared and delicious meal: each of our entrees were $18 including salad and bread.
