“Great Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013

The Rogue River is an amazing place to take the family for fishing, rafting, picnicking or hiking. Close to Medford (a full service community with hotels, restaurants etc.). The upper Rogue (above Shady Cove) is beautiful and offers some of the best scenery and outdoor activity in the world. beautiful green conifer forests, clean water and unbelievable wildlife viewing opportunities.

“There's Nothing Like The Rogue!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Pick your season, pick your stretch of the river. If you want the tourist views, restaurants and rest rooms at (or near) beginning and end, Class 3 max., do the upper Rogue, starting at Casey Park or Shady Cove, in the summer, and enjoy! End your float at Dodge Bridge, or Touvelle Park. (Don't expect warm water, though -- the temperature is managed to favor the salmon.) Tell all your friends!

If you want Class 4 and up, and have a helmet (and snorkel), hit the lower Rogue (especially the 40-mile Wild Reach) in the spring! (If you get there before May, you won't need a permit.) And if the Rogue is too tame, do the Illinois ....

“Wild, Scenic and historic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

There are a number of ways to enjoy the Rogue: Guided fishing trip, Day-trip to one of many parks, rent a tahiti or larger raft, or the Hellgate Jetboat Excursion. Just be careful, it's a powerful current. You will probably see Osprey, Bald Eagles, Otter and other river wildlife.

“Hells-Gate Jet Boat Ride on the Rogue River.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

We heard a lot about the Hells-Gate Jet Boat ride on the Rogue River. When our family visited us back in August last year we took them on this river ride and what a great experience. The driver was outstanding and did a great job of narrating the cruise. The first leg of the tip include a wonderful lunch and resort accommodations with great service and awesome food. The ride back was just a much fun and the weather was perfect for boating on the Rogue. Lots of wild life to see as well as upscale residence to view on the trip. Definitely, a must do thing in the summer time and for family to remember a great experience.
