If you've been to a McMenamins property, you pretty much know what to expect from this place- lots of murals, historic hippie vibe, beer everywhere. Unlike other McMenamins though, it was well located- right in the middle of downtown McMinnville, with good service and excellent food. Four bars, from wine cellar to rooftop, and all serve the same full menu. Included breakfast was great. Room was small, with only a sink- bathrooms were across the hall.

Nothing spectacular but it's a nice and almost quirky little place to stay. The food was pretty good and the rooms were unique and interesting. No televisions in the rooms though and some of the rooms don't have bathrooms so be prepared. Overall it was a fine place to stay for a stop-over in wine country, but don't expect all the usual amenities found in large hotels.

No working phones in the rooms. Band plays on Thursday nights late, which they failed to tell me when I booked so I was kept up half the night because of the band. Staff were incredibly unhelpful. Would never stay here again.
