“Anniversary in Oregon Wine Country”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

My husband and I (locals to the area) experienced our first wine tasting tour through Yamhill County in celebration of a milestone wedding anniversary. Our visit at Youngberg Hill exceeded expectations. We stayed in the recently remodeled Jura Room. The room is modern, comfortable and offers stunning views. We fell in love with the property and concluded our afternoon with a stroll through the vineyard. The innkeeper Wayne and the staff were were friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed breakfast both mornings. We will return, and have already recommended Youngberg Hill to friends and colleagues.

We loved everything about this place. The view from our room was amazing. We loved watching the sun come up every morning. Colleen was very welcoming and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Can't wait to go back!

We spent one night at this lovely Inn. The grapes were ready to be picked ,so it was great to see the vineyards at this time. The fireplace in our room was so nice, it was a cool evening so this made it so nice. The Mcminnville area was great especially the Aviation museum. The historic town was great to walk and there are many nice restaurants. We went to Nick's Italian restaurant, but it was very gourmet, not your typical Italian restaurant. Read the menu first. This Inn is lovely ,breakfast not to our liking though.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor waldesvil was lovely with. Fireplace. Very quiet

My daughter was just married at Youngberg Hill Vineyards & Inn. It was magical in every way - even though the wind was howling and the rain was coming down in buckets. Nicolette, the owner, and Colleen, the innkeeper, were so accommodating and friendly. The staff did everything they could to keep the rain from dampening the spirits of the bride and groom - and it worked. The inn is gorgeous, the rooms are beautiful, the breakfast was fabulous, and the wine was superb. If my daughter's wedding was this much fun at Youngberg Hill in a monsoon, I can only imagine what most brides will experience having their wedding here on a beautiful day. Many thanks to Nicolette and her crew!! (I almost forgot to mention what a wonderful job her daughter did babysitting the little ones who were at the wedding, too!)

Room Tip: We stayed in the Jackson Suite. It was unbelievably beautiful!

Well if stories are part of a great journey we'll have them forever with this family. Weddings are a wonderful part of our business. We host about 20 a year and are honored to be part of the families who have chosen us. We have hosed weddings for the past 9 years and each one is so very different. I will always remember how appreciative this family and friends were and how everyone (vendors, caterers, bartenders, Inn, and set up crew) worked above and beyond to put together a great wedding on a unusually rainy day. We look forward to sharing more stories with you in the future.

We had the Jura room which is the best room in the B&B. It was recently remodeled and it has a spectacular view of the valley.
The staff was very attentive. You could tell they liked their jobs. The complimentary wine tastings each afternoon were a nice way to meet your fellow travelers. The breakfasts surpass your expectations. We will be visiting there again.

We recently spent three nights at the lovely, hospitable Youngberg Hill Inn in the Gamay room. The location and views are spectacular, the rooms comfortable and charming, the food and wine delicious, and the host/owner, Wayne, and inn keeper, Becky, were gracious, helpful, and attentive. If you can go during the summer months when Thursday nights have the added pleasure of live music on the porch, you'll be in for an additional treat. It was a truly memorable experience. We spent two nights at the Youngberg Hill Inn. Tried to book for three nights but they were full, so book early. We stayed the the Pommard room which gave lovely view of vineyards and surrounding beauty. Great bed. Becky, the innkeeper, was a gracious host and provides wonderful breakfasts! We loved the wine tasting hour each afternoon and talking with Wayne , the owner , who was friendly and happy to share about winemaking. We would love to return. Met nice guests there as well! Great places for dinner close by in McMinnville.
