“An incredible place to stay in Lincoln City!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2009

Many places say views, but none come anywhere close to this. (I've researched them) For one, it's right on the coast, and elevated for picturesque panoramic vistas. The location was perfect, walking distance to local shops right on the 101 and a short stroll to the beach where we flew kites. The kids loved the special kids suite complete with a fun bunk-bed and wii games to keep them busy. We particularly liked the modern decor, a big flat screen tv, and comfy beds we lounged in. We stayed an extra day, and wished we could stay longer. Thanks Coho!

The person that took my reservation did not tell me the rooms were not air conditioned, nor did she indicate that the second bedroom did not have an ocean view. In fact, she assured me that all the rooms had ocean views.

NEVER STAY HERE. Seriously.
We reserved a “Pet-Friendly" room and while we were at the beach with our dog- the owner inspected our room, said our dog had ruined the bed spread and charged us $500. Being a female, I naturally called the police when the OWNER got inches from my face and started yelling at me. After we called the police they arrived and cited NO DAMAGE TO THE BEDSPREAD OR ROOM for that matter. The owner told us to our faces "he just remodeled this place and it was very expense and we'll have to take that up with our credit card company" The owner has NO business, or social ethics; He claimed he had documented records of every single damage incurred on the property, yet when we asked to see those to check that our room hadn't been "damaged" before we rented it, there were NO records after all.

Don't stay here unless you like being taken advantage of, enjoy a crappy continental breakfast of dry breads and sugary juices, and are looking forward to the worst service of your life.

The view was nice, but you can get that anywhere on the coast. DON"T STAY HERE.

Honesty, respect, and professionalism are the core components of our way of doing business that has kept us successful for over 30+ years. We would never in any situation take advantage of anyone or act in ways that would be considered offensive or disrespectful. The safety and security of our staff and employees are priority concerns for our owners and management and always will be. The Coho is a wonderful place to stay and so are our people.

We went for an anniversary. The view from this room was breathtaking! We opened the windows and listened to the surf at night. The rooms were tastefully done and comfortable. The days we were there were hot and no air conditioning. That's the only negative. Which isn't bad because how often does it get hot at the coast? The manager Rob and his entire staff are the nicest hotel staff I've ever encountered. They did everything in their power to make our stay a memorable one. If you are looking for a room right on the beach you can't go wrong with the Coho.

The housekeeper never filled our sugar and creamers one day, so we didn't have any for the next day. The hot tub had so much Chlorine it turned my boyfriends shorts from green to yellow. Other than that we thought it was great. The breakfast was good as well and the secretary Megan was extremely helpful!!
