“Overpriced!! Room was dingy and dirty”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Cons: We stayed at the Beachfront Manor, room 201 this past weekend in January. We had high expectations since we paid over $200/night in the off season. The room was not cleaned carefully (dirty mug left in the microwave, coffee pot not cleaned) and there was a stain on the bathroom ceiling that looked like it may have black mold growth on it. The water from the bathroom faucet and shower was only hot, we couldn't get it to run cold so we had to get ice to put in the water so we could brush our teeth. The electricity kept short circuiting and flashing, so the clock had to constantly be reset and caused the alarm clock to not go off in the morning. The bath tub faucet was falling off the wall. There were stains all over the carpet too. We could hear people above us and people walking up and down the stairs by our room. Management didn't respond to any of our concerns. I tried to get in touch with Karen, the GM, but she didn't respond to any e-mails or voicemails. Everything inside of the room is what I expect from a cheap highway motel that is $30/night .. certainly not from a high priced hotel. There is no staff at the actual hotel, and no wi-fi. Housekeeping doesn't come unless you request them to come.

Pros: Nice view, comfortable bed, rose petals on the bed were a nice touch, hot tub was nice (but cover was secured with a nylon rope that we had to keep tying and untying).

We stayed here once before and had a good experience, but if you really look over the reviews for this group of hotels, you'll see the reviews are mixed. That's because this is one of those places with minimal management/owners oversight who are never available should there be an issue that needs to be addressed. We are fundamentally opposed to paying top dollar to stay at a hotel that can't turn their rooms in a reasonable time. We waited until 6 pm for our hot tub room before giving up and getting a refund. Lots of excuse that were called not excuses: We were really busy this weekend, we have reduced staff, no wait..we are fully staffed...at 2:30p, they told us the room next to ours had just been cleaned, yet 3 1/2 hrs later, room still not ready, we don't guarantee checkin time--which presumably means you could wait all night for a room....good luck. Too many other options in this town to mess with baloney.

Room Tip: Try any number of other better hotels nearby.

This was the second time using Beachfront Manor. My wife and I stayed in room 304, which has a ocean view balcony with a hot tub. The view was stunning and the room was perfect! The bed had robes laid out for us, rose pettals and mints that greeted us as we came in. We opted not to have housekeeping for the two days we were there (we can make our own bed), so we were completely undisturbed the entire time. It was FANTASTIC and I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to be left alone for their stay in beautiful Lincoln City.

Room Tip: Rooms on level 1-3 have unobstructed ocean views (if you opt for the ocean view rooms). Level 4 ocea...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights to get away after our wedding. The bed was super comfortable and I loved the pillows. They put rose petals around or bed with two robes. The hot tub on the balcony was completely private and clean. The only reason I didn't rate it a five star was that we found a pubic hair on the blanket they provided and dried blood on the bathroom door. But other then that I loved that their was no WiFi because it allows couples to pay attention to one another. Also the housekeeping was really nice we told him about the cleaning issues we found and he instantly corrected it plus gave us a bunch of towels for the hot tub. I do recommend this place and will be staying here again in the future.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our 3 year anniversary. We were SO pleasantly surprised! The room was cozy, private, & unique. We rarely saw other residents of the hotel, and it was peaceful & quiet. We stayed in a corner room on 2nd floor at the Beachfront Manor location; it had windows on both sides facing the ocean, which had the most gorgeous views. Upon our arrival we had rose petals, chocolates, and bathrobes on the bed! loved it! Hot tub on the deck was the highlight for me! Beach access one flight of steps down from our room was very nice. The fireplace, flat screen tv & cute decorations were all perks too. The only con was the shower was pretty small & the hot & cold water was kind of messed up. (fyi: end cost per night was about $185)
We are already planning our next visit :)

Room Tip: Ask for the corner rooms with the hot tub on deck :)

This is a quaint hotel. Definitely more like a motel. The rooms were clean, newly remodeled, and they tried really hard!! Super friendly staff!! Cute decor. They had bathrobes and mints laid out on the bed upon arrival. The room we were in was a fireplace queen partial view. The room is very small. It feels like a motel because there is no room and the beds are near the window. There was some white stuff on the bedspread, not cool. The rooms, while remodeled, still smelled old and bad. The "partial" view is no view. Literally you could open the drapes and stand up to see the water but really only got a "view" by walking outside of the room. I really don't understand partial view. All the partial view rooms seemed to have same problem. The too.s with balconies were probably nice?? But we didn't see inside them, I just thought the jacuzzi on the balcony was cool. Apparently this was rated the second most romantic hotel in the country. I do NOT know by WHO'S standards??? Think through that one a bit and church the rating criteria. Maybe most romantic super 8 (sorry to be rude) but I've stayed in many many more romantic hotels (even small niche ones). Here's the deal. This hotel really tries and the staff are super nice. I think if rates were lower than competitors and expectations were lowered (ie "partial view") then it would be a fine hotel to stay in. Problem is the surrounding / competing hotels offer more for the same price. I don't like staying in motel 6 type hotels, not because there is anything wrong as much as it simply doesn't feel good to me. Hence I would not choose to personally stay here for that reason.

Stayed one night during the week. Room was very small but bed was comfortable. View was awesome and hot tub was perfect. Cool breeze off ocean made hot tub a long term project. A lot of dvds for rent at cheap price. TV was a little dated. Overall really enjoyed the stay at groupon prices, will likely go back again.

Wifi would have been nice but didn't have any.
