We checked into this motel on a spur of the moment trip to the coast. We used to stay at the property often when at the coast. The time before this last visit, when we stayed at this motel we returned to our room after a day out to discover the door to the room open and that they had neglected to clean the room. When I went to the front desk to complain, I was handed a package of coffee, and was told they were sorry, sometimes that happppened. We stayed away for awhile but decided to give them another chance. At check-in I asked for an accessible room. We were given a room on the third floor that couldn't accommodate a wheelchair in the bathroom. I went downstairs to ask again for an accessible room and was told they didn't have accessible rooms. I asked the desk clerk if either room 110 or 111 were available (two of the accessible rooms that we had stayed in before. 111 was available and we were moved. The room looked okay when we first entered. Later when we were ready for bed we noticed that when the spreads were pulled back, there were nut shells all around the beds and empty beer cans were in the night stand. The sheets looked like they hadn't been changed ...
This is two visits in a row where the quality of the stay was not what it should be. We used to stay at this property on a regular basis but I think they must have had a change in management based on our last two experiences.

We here at the Bel Aire Inn try very hard to accommodate all of our guest needs I personally made this guest's reservation and they did not say they needed an accessible room. When the guest arrived they claimed they had requested an accessible room and we were able to accommodate.

Now as far as they're room being unclean the guest has yet to mention this to management or any staff of the hotel and reading the guests comment here is the first I have heard of it.

I'm not sure what happened on they're previous stay
as there has been a change in management but I am always ready to address any problem a guest may have and will do my best to resolve it.

“Great value for money”

Bel-Aire Inn Express

May 22, 2008

We paid 62$ mid week senior rate in May 2008 for this very well appointed hotel. Large beautiful rooms with new fixtures and fittings. Didn't use the pool or fitness centre so cant comment on these.
Breakfast was included and and was served in a very tasteful dining room- plenty of choice and plenty of seating.
Front desk staff very helpful and polite. We thought this hotel was a real bargain for the price we paid for the quality we received.

my wife and i had a wonderful stay at the Bel Aire Inn. We stayed in a
king fireplace room with a beautiful view of the ocean and walk out
balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The was nice and
clean and we enjoy they're heated pool and hot tub. It was only a short walk to the beach and dining. We really had a good time and we will definitely be back.

“Continental Breakfast is a "BAD JOKE"!!!”

Bel-Aire Inn Express

Oct 25, 2007

Be careful what the front desk person describes over the phone about the hotel. One day after making the reservation we arrived with telephone notes in hand. Errors included price, length of stay & room location. Additional errors included misrepresentation of the breakfast to include " 3 types of fruit juices "....which infact the machine was always out of service, three days at least!!!. Infact, the serving area is a grand deception of what turned out to be the worst continental breakfast I have ever been offered. Still further, before making the reservation I asked if everything is working and in service only to find the sauna "out of service." One last comment, our room was clean. Alot of out of area tradesman frequent the hotel which is probably the reason there is so very much mud in the elevator and hallways. We use the hotels in Lincoln City, but by comparison..................................Bel-Aire Express will not be one of them.

“adaquate”

this hotel is adaquate, but I would not return. It is newer and is in pretty good shape- but it is 6 to 8 blocks from the ociean, although there is some view from the 3rd floor.

It is located on highway 101, but we were on the ocean side and did not hear any road sounds.

They said it was close to the casino, but they are about mile away.

The continental breakfast is adaquate. The hallways are noisy if people are talking.
