Good thing, too, because the line for a table is often long, and if you don't get there early, you may not be able to get a favorite entree' (the halibut always seems to sell out early)! But the wait is worth it; The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious! We ALWAYS have lunch at J's Fish and Chips when we're in town.
We were starving as we arrived to our hotel and we noticed this eatery via Yelp had a family pack type meal, we called and in 30 min. had a big yummy bag of fish n chips, it was really tasty!
Loved the clam chowder & cod fish n chips. Place is small with few tables, we were lucky to get there before the lunch rush. Good food at good price!
Some of the best fish we have ever had. Try the Hallibut. Our orders on two differs days were fresh and so good. Good slaw and Curley fries.
This place is not pretty---but the food is awesome. The fish and chips are terrific and the pepper fries are excellent. Don't be thrown off by the atomoshpere (well--there is none) the food is worth the lack of comfort/modern amenities.
