We booked through Travelportland.com and only paid $67/night! We mentioned we were on our honeymoon and were upgraded to the Governor's Suite and were greeted with a bottle of wine and a note from Travelportland. The hotel gave us free breakfast and even though there was some construction in the public areas, things were kept very clean and lovely. There was a prom the first night, which we thought would be a horrible inconvenience, but even though we were on the 3rd floor overlooking the area with prom, we never heard it at all the parking was still easy and close. The hotel is right on I-5 only a couple minutes from downtown, but still outside enough that you can get to the east and west outskirts very easily. We'll stay at the Crowne Plaza again in a heartbeat!

I left one of my favorite sweaters behind in a drawer at this hotel. I called two days later and was told that the housekeeper had turned it in. Patrice sent me the sweater the next day.

I've stayed here a number of times, and while decent enough, not where I'd want to be for an extended trip. The rooms and beds are average and the service is variable. I don't often eat at the restaurant but when I have it has been quite good. This Crown Plaza, like a number of others I have been at seems to be in a slow decline. ICHotelsGroup is letting it go the way of Holiday Inn, and that is a shame.

My family and I had a great stay at this hotel! The staff was very friendly and went out of the way to make us comfortable during our unexpected stop in Oregon. I was surprised that they let us keep our dog in the room when other hotels would not! Sunday breakfast was great. We will stop in again next time we come to Portland as it was a very good experience ..........Jeff Arthur
