“Best pastries in LO, fantastic meals!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

We've been coming to La Provence for over 10 years starting with the older location for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pastries are to DIE FOR! If you are watching your weight, don't even wander by the counter. Authentic French pastries with real butter make me think of my travels to France! Their meals are always great, breakfast is the best in town and now that they have moved to the schwanky digs, it's just as nice to look at as it is to devour their food.

I will say the logistical division of the building is clearly defined with cafe/pastry counter area in the front of the house, bar in middle and dining in back. It seems odd, but it works. The patio in warmer months is wonderful! They are packed and at times service can be a bit rushed, forgetful and scattered, but I am sure they are still working out the kinks. Funny how a new building (same breakfast/similiar lunch menu for over a decade) will bring masses of people out.

“Simply Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

My family ate dinner here recently for the first time, and we were all so impressed by the quality, taste, price, and presentation of the food. The service was top notch. We treated ourselves to a couple of decadent desserts on the way out. Hard to resist! We all agreed, we'd be back---soon!

“Tasty choices”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

This was my first visit to their new location and I was very impressed with the new digs! Lots of seating, which they need as they are a popular choice. Really like the outdoor seating for the times we get sunshine, and adore they have a mini loft seating as well. I decided on the day breaker which was eggs, potatoes & butternut squash (yum), sausage, bacon or ham, and bread. The pluses were the nice flavor and color of the butternut squash added, gives kick to the standard homefries, as well as a Gluten FREE bread option for a bit extra. The negatives were the food was not very hot, and the bread came as is, not toasted and nor was I asked, and did not have someone come back to check how things were mid meal. The place was super busy even for a weekday morning, seems a lot of locals like to have business meetings here. I would def. go back and try some other things.

“I'm a regular here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

I absolutely love La Provence! The food is fresh, well-made and the service is spot on. I probably visit several times a month. It's a great spot to meet up with a girlfriend and have breakfast or lunch. If you haven't tried La Provence you truly are missing out. Oh, and don't forget all of the baked goods from breads, muffins, pastries! The Lemon Graffitti is an absolute must for anyone that enjoys chocolate and lemon!

“La Provence steps up”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

No housed in a beautiful new building and with more seating La Provence has hit a home run. With outdoor seating, space heaters for those chilly days and much better service to compliment the great food they have always served you can't go wrong. Menu choices are varied to all tastes and presentation is nice. As Yogi Berra used to say " nobody goes there anymore because it's too crowded " so plan on a wait to get seated most days and especially during the nice weather.
