We've been coming to La Provence for over 10 years starting with the older location for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pastries are to DIE FOR! If you are watching your weight, don't even wander by the counter. Authentic French pastries with real butter make me think of my travels to France! Their meals are always great, breakfast is the best in town and now that they have moved to the schwanky digs, it's just as nice to look at as it is to devour their food.
I will say the logistical division of the building is clearly defined with cafe/pastry counter area in the front of the house, bar in middle and dining in back. It seems odd, but it works. The patio in warmer months is wonderful! They are packed and at times service can be a bit rushed, forgetful and scattered, but I am sure they are still working out the kinks. Funny how a new building (same breakfast/similiar lunch menu for over a decade) will bring masses of people out.
