We let our kids ride their bikes all over the park. When motor home camping the camp spots are well groomed and maintained with asphalt aprons, pic-nic tables and fire pits. Deer and Elk roam freely about the park and have been known to bed down right next to your tent or motor home. The state of Oregon keeps the lake well stocked with trout and there are lots of hold overs from previous years that of very good size, plus there is excellent stream fishing in the area. There are cabins for rent and there is a lodge with rooms and excellent dining. Miles of trails and a tram that you can ride deep into the Wallowa National Forest. This is an excellent location for couples, families and friends to meet and have a great experience that will last their whole lives
