“Hands down WORST service!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2012

After our first bad experience with burnt food and non-existent service, we decided to give them a 2nd chance.(Because the other Mexican place was closed) Hands down the worst service I have ever experienced.  After ordering immediately because we were famished, we waited 35 minutes(in an empty restaurant) with empty water glasses and our food NEVER came, seriously...We left, without eating and will never go back!

“Great Family Run Choice for Pre-Britt Dining”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2011

My boyfriend and I ate at Las Palmas in July before seeing Arrival from Sweden (Abba tribute band). My parents live in Medford and go to Britt all the time and recommended it as the best value in the area. I think this place is overlooked by visitors but seems to be well known by locals. Although it doesn't look like much, they have a nice patio with flowers out back. We sat outside and enjoyed the very fast and friendly service. We had two margaritas and split a burrito plate (portions are very large so good idea to split or take half of it home). Our servers were so kind that when we requested some salsa verde in addition to the salsa they brought with the chips, our waiter returned with a fresh, still warm salsa that the kitchen had obviously whipped up just for us. So if you're looking to have a nice, pre-Britt meal out on a patio and don't want to pay Jacksonville Inn prices and want better food and service than La Fiesta ( my parents used to go there but gave up after several disappointments-and they are not picky), go to Las Palmas.

“Family-feel with outdoor seating”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2011

The staff delivers prompt service with a relaxed vibe. This is a family-run restaurant so they care about providing you a comfortable dining experience. The interior decor is attractive with carved and colorful chairs. The seating is flexible so they can accommodate a wide variety of groups, from two at a booth to twenty at tables pulled together. The back patio is a good choice when the weather allows. The menu offers a large selection. The tortilla soup is a good value at $8.50 for a generous portion. They offer enormous margaritas and a variety of bottled beers and sangria. You'll feel at ease and at home here.
