“One of several nice waterfalls along scenic route 30”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2014

Horsetail Falls can be seen from your car or for a closer look it is a short walk from the parking area. The drive along scenic route 30 is mostly shaded and is naturally beautiful. This is one of at least six waterfalls that are easily accessible from the roadway.

“Nice stop on the waterfall trail”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013

We were driving west on I-84 from Hood River to Portland and got off the highway and on to scenic route 30 on the way to Multnomah Falls. Horsetail falls was an unexpected stop which we "Griswolded" and thoroughly enjoyed our 5 minute stop ;) It was a foggy day along the Columbia River Gorge and the Horsetail Falls was shrouded by the weather, but still gorgeous.

“Just beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2013

Visit the Columbia River Gorge ASAP. All of the falls are beautiful. There are six....hike around each one a little or a lot. You will not be disappointed by this wonderful natural area.

“Gorgeous fall that you can enjoy from your car Or Really experience with a little bit of a hike!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

I highly recommend this little loop drive off of HWY 84. You will get an amazing bundle of beautiful sights for so little effort or time lost. I am not sure how anyone could say to skip the Mulnotna Falls sight for this one when they are only a few minutes apart! Both are spectacular and worth the effort. I highly recomend.

“Great waterfall visible from the road”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

This is a nice waterfall right on the road with a parking lot across the road. No walking is required to see the waterfall. If you take the hike up the hill on the trail it takes you to Poneytail Falls where you can walk behind the water from the waterfall.
