Stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed the lovely lobby sitting area and convenient location. We could walk anywhere in the downtown business area. Our room did not face the street or railroad tracks, was clean, fairly small, and we did not spend extra time in it. There was no problem with noise. The staff is pleasant, not exceptional. The lobby area is beautiful, really gives the sense of an old classic hotel, and is very comfortable to sit and read or just relax. It is nice to get the $10 discount on breakfast in the restaurant, but the food was only average. One issue is parking--there is none. Parking is on the street, and on weekdays you can purchase a parking pass for $3/half day and $5/full day that allows you to park at metered parking. I would stay here again, but would try to get a room with a bit more space.
